motivates you to push yourself to the limit

This is a very demanding workout, for people who are already in good physical condition, who want to be even better. If you're not already in good condition and want a video workout to help you get there, I recommend Caracci's first workout video, The Navy SEAL Workout Challenge.
While leading you through the workout, Caracci motivates and encourages, and teaches you how to push to your true physical limits, way past the point where most people would quit or give up. It won't just make you physically tougher, it will make you mentally tougher.

Don't walk, RUN to see Bridget Jones's Diary!

The only reason not to go and see Bridget Jones?s Diary right now is if you don?t already know the ending to Fatal Attraction. Otherwise, get your rocker off the seat and run to the cinema to watch this movie! Okay, back to critiquing the movie. It blew me away from start to finish! In the first 5 minutes I was already in tears from laughing so much. That?s a new World record! This movie is flippin? funny and it knows it. The characters get in impossible situations that are very funny and simply situations that are even funnier. Renee Zellweger plays Bridget brilliantly, she splendid and gained 7kg?s for the movie. Well, Renee, it was worth it. This is arguably her best performance to date, a dramatic and comic one that has had so much effort put into to it literally bursts out of the screen. Hugh Grant injects the film with a shot of bad-boy personality and Colin Firth is just great. The soundtrack is also fabulous and the miraculous one-liners are so memorable you?ll be quoting them to everyone in sight! Bridget Jones?s Diary is fun, clever, entertaining and frankly brilliant ? see it now!

Drew was fantastic!

I can't get enough of this movie! Drew did just as good of a job, as she did in Ever After! David Arquette showed that he can do more than just horror movies! And I hope to see Michael Vartan as a big actor someday!

An excellent movie with an incredibly thorough DVD.

Rather than trying to argue with the people who don't like the movie (as everyone else seems to be doing), I figured I would actually review the DVD.
First of all, the movie is remarkably well done considering the pure scale of the books. To try and recreate Tolkein's world is an enormous task, and was incredibly well done by Peter Jackson. LOTR is incredibly simple in its plot, but its the way the characters who are not human become human to us and make us relate to them that makes LOTR interesting. Its a human interest story when it really comes down to it.
As for the extended edition DVD, I just have to say wow. There's a lot of information to take in. But when you spend 3 years filming a movie and then another 3 editing it, you might as well do it right. I'm a huge fan of documentaries of any kind, from the Civil War to the history of hot dogs, I find it fascinating. If you're not that type of person, the normal dvd will probably suit you just fine, but if you either are an absolubte fanatic about LOTR or just really enjoy behind the scenes of things in general, then its an incredibly well put together dvd.
The extra scenes that were added into the movie aren't especially neccesary if you're just a casual fan, since it makes the movie that much longer (about 50 minutes), but if you have the patience to sit through it and really enjoy the films, then the extra scenes are very nice to have. A lot of humorous scenes and character background scenes got cut out of the theatrical version, so it kinda makes the movie a little less gloomy.
So to sum up, wonderful film, surprisingly extraordinary cast, and extended scenes and the most comprehensive extra features a dvd release has ever seen make this a wonderful dvd for your collection and very much worth the extra $10 over the theatrical version.

A Burried Treasure re-discovered...

I have the laserdisc and vhs copy of this stylish and underrated 80's horror classic and now I will finally have it on DVD!!

The atmosphere of this movie and the genuine plot twist is totally unforgetable.SCREAM borrowed alot from this movie and gave it no credit..Those of you that have seen this movie will know exactly what I'm talking about..Melissa Sue Anderson is great and the murders are twisted and fun.If you haven't seen this movie,it is worth your time to invest in a good solid horror movie with a plot that doesn't rely on gore over tell a story. The ending is truly haunting.

Please, see the movie, then review.

Forget Toy Story, forget Shrek, this is the one that will remain in the history books. I just saw this movie and I have to say this is a true landmark in moviemaking, at least visually. That's why I give it 5 stars. But be advised that this is not the greatest movie in the world, since acting, directing, music and storyline are from mediocre to average. Square Pictures has a lot to improve in those areas. But it still deserves the highest rating for establishing a new standard in computer-generated imagery for movies.
Go see it and be part of this important step in moviemaking. ILM, PDI & Pixar, make way for Square, the new master of CG cinema.

The Gold Standard

The more you understand Pilates, the more you understand it is a very, very challenging exercise method. As far as I'm concerned, this video shows Reformer equipment exercises better than any other video. This Universal Reformer Series demonstrates the most comprehensive and professional and attractive way of practicing Pilates.

I started out studying the Stott version of Pilates. When I saw this video, I discovered Pilates can be strong and beautiful. It's energizing too. Now I'm studying with a Pilates teacher who studied classical Pilates, and it is an excellent workout.

The Color Purple - movie DVD cover picture
Beautiful,thought provoking & bitterly sad.

With all the 60 reviews given ahead of me, I will not go through the story again but to mention it is among one of the best Spielberg movie ever to grace the cinemas over here in Asia. Also among the bestselling.
Whoopi Goldberg was almost unrecognizable if, to compare her with her more recent movies and in here as Celie, along with the other women , all have very strong characters. And the sad thing is , as it is all over the world, strong willed women, somehow can succumb due to social injustice, sexism and prejudice.
We (here in Asia) were very shock indeed watching the Academy awards and to witness that this remarkable movie about 3 remarkable black women facing sexism and racism win not a single pathetic oscar.
With pretty strong scripts, beautiful panoramas and an intense story, The Color Purple to me, is a masterpiece that ranks among most International Art-house classics.
It is such a pity, really. And most often than not, we see a lot of unfairness in many Oscars awards. But then, the Academy judges decision is not our business.
The haunting score for this movie is one tune I can hum and whistle till today.
