jaime pressly as sexy!

Gorgeous, sexy young blonde actress Jaime Pressly plays a dominatrix who takes revenge on her enemies by seducing and killing them. She uses all the tricks - chains, handcuffs, whips, to bring her men to submission and then strikes. Great sexy concept, like Basic INstinct or Body of Evidence. If the idea of an innocent-looking luscious girl tying up, torturing and killing helpless men turns you on, watch this movie!

cute movie

Although very unrealistic, I loved the movie. It will be outdated in a few years, but it's a feel good, happy movie.

Essential British Comedy

I love the Carry On films, I love the whole gang of Great British actors, like Sid James, Terry Scott, Kenneth Williams, Barbara Windsor etc, they all fit perfectly together. These are the first Carry On films, from the 60's, although they are great, and in most people's opinions these are the 'classics'But I much prefer the films from the 70's such as ..Abroad, Girls, Loving, at Your Convenience, and even Behind, where are the Region One DVd's of this half of the Carry On's????I would expect a trailer, or interviews etc, but the two on one disc is a good offer, and this box set is definately good VFM,just release the others PLEASE!!!!

Absolutely Fantastic

This is one of the best concerts that I have seen in my several decades on this planet. As I watched, all I could think of was how wonderful it would be to be there. Beyonce is just awesome. She is multitalented and this concert showcases all of those talents....her singing, dancing, and creativity (she participated, as she says on the video, in planning and staging the show...and WOW!!....did she ever deliver.
Her choice of costumes were perfect for the various sections of the show. After seeing the concert I have a greater appreciation for a couple of songs (Hip Hop Star, The First Time I Said No etc.) that I was not too fond of when I bought the CD.
Now when I listen to the album I automatically visualize her performing them.
The staging and lighting were fabulous, I really liked the visuals for "a gift from virgo" and "summertime".
There was not one aspect of the show that I did not like....I have watched it at least a half dozen times...and I find something new to appreciate each time I watch it.
The special features sections is off the hook!
I have read some of the other critical commentary criticizing her voice, her routine with the audience, etc. The comments are wack! Beyonce gives a wonderful performance. Someone even had the nerve to say she was no Janet Jackson... Now I very much love Janet Jackson, but if it came to a singing contest....Beyonce would blow her away. If Janet could not entertain and dance, she would have never made it on her voice alone...the same for madonna! (another person someone said was better)...At least Beyonce can act! She can act better than Janet as well.
This DVD is ten times better than the Destiny's Child Concert that was a big disappointment.
I absolutely love this concert only regret was that it had to end... It left me wanting more...and that is the hightest compliment you can pay any entertainer.

John Q. (Infinifilm Edition) - movie DVD cover picture

JOHN Q is shamelessly manipulative film; it pulls all the right buttons at all the right times, but in essence, it's a well done and evocative drama fueled by a powerhouse performance from Denzel Washington. His dilemma is carefully etched and his solution, while not the right one, ultimately brings about the dramatic miracle Washington so valiantly seeks. While a bit preachy about the health care situation, the movie makes its point for Washington's case. The life of a little boy is certainly more important than bureaucratic red tape, and hospital hierarchy. Washington is supported by a fine cast: Kimberly Elise as his devoted wife; James Woods as the heart surgeon who undergoes a change of heart; Shawn Hotosy as an ER hostage with his own problems; Robert Duvall as the crusty police negotiator; Ray Liotta as the egotistical chief of police; David Thornton as Denzel's friend Jimmy; and Anne Heche as the apparently coldhearted hospital administrator.
Yes, there are cliches but the movie's message rings clear and it's so well done, it can't help but move you.

'Cellular' is Great, If Not Flawed

In CELLULAR Kim Basinger as always plays her part with a natural flair. She is so much more down-to-earth than other screen stars, so that even with her amazing beauty, she always seems like a person we might actually know. When she is abducted so brutally it's really wrenching and like the old "SORRY WRONG NUMBER" with Barbara Stanwyck we go crazy with suspense hoping that her connection will last until she can be rescued. Only more so, because in the 1940s movie Stanwyck was pretty much a negative character whom you could never identify with, whereas here Kim's playing a very sympathetic part. I think she and Chris Evans make a pretty good scream team, even though she's so much older than he is. The studios should try re-teaming them. All the actors are good, and the suspense is almost as intense as it was with the similar-plotted thriller of the 1960s, WAIT UNTIL DARK. There are a couple of places where everyone in the whole theater screamed their lungs out!

Strong to digest and leaves an aftertaste

It is thought provoking none the less. What does it takes for a man to eat one of his one? In this movie you will get the answer. Director Antonia Bird has made a fine piece of movie here with the help of stars Guy Pearce and Robert Carlyle and the music compositions by Michael Nyman and Damon Albarn which is one of the best soundtracks I've ever heared. Ted Griffin has made a good script which keeps you on the edge of your seat all the way to the finish. On the DVD you can listen to Bird, Albarn, Carlyle, Griffin and co-star Jeffrey Jones as they comment on the picture they have made. They should be proud `cause this is nothing that will just go away. Many people will not like it, they will hate everything with it, saying that the acting was poor and the music was stupid and louse. But all of this increase the disturbid side of the film making it one of the more succesfull movies in recent years. It could be just another horrorpicture but it is also something else and that makes it so different to what we are used to. I never did like cannibal movies (I found them too gruesome and disgusting) so this is something else for me. I know that it didn't go so well in the cinemas (here in Sweden it only lasted a month) but it is worth a little more then that `cause it isn't that bad. One of the best movies this year. Really good DVD edition with three audio commentary tracks.

Awsome DVD To own

This is one of the best DVD's out there and well worth the money. Hearing T2 in DTS is awsome it's got both Dolby Digital and DTS Digital Surround sound formats. Turn this movie up very loud and sit back and enjoy. The interactive menus are great the video is very clear. It's got plenty of extras to keep you busy I highly suggest adding this to your DVD collection.

Usher: Live - Evolution 8701 - movie DVD cover picture

Like Mr.Raymond or not, he is definitely the KING OF HIP-POP, the one and only MR. ENTERTAINMENT. This exceptional DVD, "LIVE EVOLUTION 8701 should prove it once and for all. And if you still don't believe this after viewing it, folks, you just merely "hatin'" on this extraordinary performer. Usher is a singer, dancer, songwriter, producer, all around entertainer. From "I DON'T KNOW" to "WHAT'S GOIN' ON" (Yes, Marvin Gaye's signature piece), Usher takes care of business! He'll absolutely blow you away with "BEDTIME", "U GOT IT BAD" and "NICE & SLOW". The choregraphy as always is simply outstanding on "I CAN'T LET U GO", "JUST LIKE ME", "IF I WANT TO" and "U REMIND ME". 8701's CD track, "TWORK IT OUT" is where he invites a pretty young lady to the stage and then performs like only he can. Yes, I am a Usher fan, but I can sincerely say he has outdone himself with this piece of work. It's a lot better than his live VHS concert, but that wasn't a slouch either.......USHER, you are indeed MR. ENTERTAINMENT, Sammy Davis, Jr., Fred Astaire, Michael Jackson & Gene Kelly should be proud.
