how can u pluralize 'lone ranger'?!

i still remember the first time i saw this movie, it was a regular boring saturday afternoon, and i had nothing to do so i decided to see if FOX was running a saturday afternoon movie, after all, thats how i saw 'Predator', 'Aliens', and 'Terminator 2' for the first time. anyways, i saw that this movie was called 'Airheads' and i thought to myself "what a stupid title" but then i acknowledged the likes of brendan fraser and adam sandler so then decided to watch it. and im glad that i did. this movie is hella funny! its my favorite comedy ever! and on top of that, its entertaining especially to fans of rock music. adam sandler is at the top of his game in this one. the chemistry between fraser, buscemi, and sandler is hilarious! my fav scene is the one when they make pip(sandler) go outside when the cop is standing out there, pure comedy genious. most of the movie i find myself laughing out loud, even when i watch it alone. so if u get the chance, i strongly recommend u get this movie, steal it from a friend if you have to. laterz

Too Fast some might say but Great ending!

I like it too fast because it's a whole experience! I understand that Lucas want to make it fastest to show us the real meaning of filming like a formula 1 race. In those races they showed us in slow motion the important parts. Just because its too fast - remember that!

Hayden got really well! Natalie too! Ian McDiarmid just as fabulous and smooth as the blackest of the black! Even I was convinced by Senator Palpatine/Darth Sidious/Emperor that the dark force was better... Out with the Jedi force!!!

This one's the best of the first 3 episodes.

Disliked some lines - too obvious!
But great and fabulous filming and watching experience! I WAS NOT DISAPPOINTED! It leaves you breathless and wanting for more...

Can we wait for more? Should we ever seen the Parts VII, VIII or IX? Let's hope so! May the force be with the ones who will decide the future of this galaxy, far far away...

Greatest movie ever!

This was to say the least a wonderfull film. The actors were great and very convincing, it had an emotional plot based upon the male bonding of some young men and the problems they endure. The ending is of a sad but sweet nature. I would highly recommend this movie - to rent or buy. I myself am hoping to make it a purchase.

Gripping suspense.

Kevin Pollack (A Few Good Men, House Arrest), his daughter, and young son are taken hostage in their own house (a la The Desperate Hours) apparently by cheap juvenile delinquent burglars. Bruce Willis is a cop who takes charge of the hostage situation. But Pollack has something in the house that both the mob and the FBI want, the latter interfering with Willis's control of the situation. However, the boy, locked in his room, finds a cell phone and becomes Willis's informer from inside the house. The boy's involvement is reminiscent of Home Alone, even more of Playing Dangerous. It's a pretty standard hostage suspense situation, but very well done with some surprises.

The Best Show you're not Watching

I cannot figure out why this show is not a bigger hit. It's fantastic.Anthony Michael Hall, (now looking eerily like Steve McQueen instead of Farmer Ted) plays Johnny Smith, a young man who loses six years of his life to a coma after a car crash. He wakes up to find that his mother is dead, his fiancee is married to another man (who Johnny's son thinks is his father), and that his brain has created a new path to consciousness, leading his thoughts through what his neurologist describes as "the dead zone". This new path gives him psychic visions, of the past, the future, and the present. This could have been a very episodic show...mystery happens, Johnny has vision that solves it, blah blah blah. Instead, the writers and producers give us a fascinating drama, where Johnny and his ex-finacee try to sort out their feelings for each other, where Johnny is alone in a world that not only doesn't have a place for him, but doesn't trust him. There are not always happy endings. Most of the episodes are bittersweet, at best. But watching Anthony Michael Hall and an excellent supporting cast try to deal with the fallout from Johnny's tragedy and unwanted notoriety makes this one of the most compelling dramas you'll see.Throw in David Ogden Stiers as the "is he good or bad" Reverend Purdy, and Sean Patrick Flanery as the "definitely bad but will the world know in time" Greg Stillson, and you have enough intrigue to keep you going episode after episode.
Especially if you are a fan of shows that deal in some way with the occult, like Buffy r Angel, you'll love this one!Spooky (at times very much so), funny, sad, utterly engrossing. Please watch The Dead Zone...it's definitely worth your time.(And yes, it is based on the Stephen King novel, so some characters and situations are familiar...but many aren't.)

80's New Wave Pioneers get their due

Well, it's about time! The Human League (THL) finally get a greatest hits video after umpteen greatest hits CD's and multiple album reissues. With Frankie Goes To Hollywood, Eurythmics, Erasure, Soft Cell, Naked Eyes, Culture Club and even Howard Jones crediting THL in one way or another as being the inspiration to their success, one wonders why they never became megastars in the United States the way Duran Duran or the others did. THL were among the early pioneers of New Wave. From as far back as 1977 they were strong believers in electronic music and after four years of hard work, they hit the mainstream and forced everyone to take notice. Their debut US album Dare was no joke. But they should have been bigger and more widely accepted. Well, they did have a couple of smashes here, like the immortal Don't You Want Me. And then there was Human 5 years later. The recently sampled Love Action (I Believe In Love) (sampled by George Michael for his Shoot The Dog) was featured in the 80's B-flick The Last American Virgin, but these icons were much bigger in England with new releaes easily debuting in the Top Pop 5. They represented style and class, and their video shorts showcased those achievements. This video collection shows the highs and lows of their career, and then their highs again. Don't You Want Me, Love Action, Mirror Man, Fascination, Human, the terrific comeback video Tell Me When and the incredibly stylish One Man In My Heart are the obvious highs. And then others like Soundtrack To A Generation and Heart Like A Wheel could have been left off. There is a telling interview included, and the rare-if-ever-seen video for Love Is All That Matters is a nice addition. The Human League fans out there will be pleased with this, and there are a lot of us. What Human League fan out there doesn't remember the summer of '82 in California? I rate this video 5 stars although I am an ardent Human League fan who was disappointed that the UK video featured more than the US release.

Natural Born Killers - movie DVD cover picture
The Realizim Of Media

I am just another person living life the best as I can in this monotonous world. The first time I saw this film, I didn't understand what the meaning or point behind this feature was! I was puzzled and lost in the movie. It seemed chaotic, like there was no direction of what was going to happen next. It was unlike any other film I had seen. I watched it again right after I finished the first time, left with nothing but confusion. The second view however, was different. It was a movie about a girl,(like most American girls), who was abused by her father,(SEXUALLY)and her mother was denying the situation, she knew everything and yet did nothing. Then along comes Mickey. This was her escape from the nightmarish world she had known and so she took it. Unplanned and unmapped murder happened. They killed her parents in a rage of madness for the evil that had been instilled in her. Then when it was over she told her brother,"your free Kevin"! That in itself is a bold statement, explaining the horror he had witnessed and grown up with. So then they take on a world of drugs, both mental abuse from parents + physical, counter act with their judgement on life. They are lost, but they love each other, and will stop at nothing to continue the crazy world they have created for themselves. Then without knowing what is going on around them, they have become famous. The media,at this point, steps in and makes stars out of them. They almost praise them for as much killing as they have done. Trying to understand why they do the things they do. Whether it be good or evil. The media, in real life, is like that! Whether it's actors, famous presidents, personal life or singers, or KILLERS, people didn't understand this film or try to go along for the ride, they analized it instead and wound up hating it! And to deny the fact that media makes everything extravagant, it happens, all day, everyday. It's all about money. Whatever it takes, sometimes even death to that person. I personally think Oliver Stone has a wonderful gift of talent to be portrated on screen. He was smart when picking the actors and actresses in this film. He thought about Woody Harrelson's backround and he knew he would be perfect to play Mickey. He knew without saying or asking that he had a past of abuse and to see that without knowing is a gift. And Juliette Lewis was also perfect, she has a much talented gift for acting then she is given credit for. I have seen her in all her movies. She is not a sex symbol for women, but she has beauty that is unforseen often one to many times. This film was hated by so many because of it's ugly truth about today's world. It wasn't pretty, it wasn't real, but in a sense of reality it did touch us where it didn't feel good. But that's what made this film one of the best films made today. The directors cut was a totally different image than given, when they cut out certain words, scenes, facial expressions, and choas the film wasn't as good as it should have been. Watch the directors cut in it's entirety, and be more open minded of the point he was trying to portray.
