breaks and warms the heart at the same time

Describing this movie is difficult, but watching it is not. In Austrailia, up until 1970, mixed children(Aboriginal mother/white father) could be taken away from their mothers and trained in the ways of the white Austrailians and then adopted by a white family. This is the story of a family divided by this policy and the struggle to reunite.

"Hollywood becomes reality" by RexCurry.net

This is an historic and sweeping film. This film has a lot of historic propaganda value. Just remember the time frame when the film was made. Carmine Gallone's Scipione l'Africano uses the raised-arm salute as one of its chief visual means to turn Mussolini into a new Scipio.
In fact you should view these four films also: the American "Ben-Hur" (1907), the Italian "Nerone" (1908), "Spartaco" (1914), and "Cabiria" (1914). These films were the origin of the "Roman salute" myth because these films show examples of a straight-arm salute. The "Roman salute" myth is the myth that the straight-arm salute was an ancient Roman custom, later borrowed by Mussolini and the National Socialist German Workers' Party.
The myth arose because of the made-up film portrayals in these films. These films are notable also because they led to the historic discovery by the journalist and historian Rex Curry that the U.S. Pledge of Allegiance was the origin of the salute of the monstrous National Socialist German Workers' Party (Nazi Party).
The "Roman Salute" myth grew because the viewing public forgot that the U.S. Pledge of Allegiance originally used the straight-arm salute. The creator of the U.S. Pledge of Allegiance was a National Socialist in the U.S. (Francis Bellamy). The salute is not in any Roman art or text. Dr. Martin Winkler of the American Philological Association has written that in imitation of such films, self-styled Italian "Consul" Gabriele D 'Annunzio borrowed the salute as a propaganda tool for his political ambitions upon his occupation of Fiume in 1919. Earlier, D'Annunzio had worked with Giovanni Pastrone in his colossal epic Cabiria (1914). Mussolini worked with D'Annunzio. Even so, evidence shows that the National Socialist German Workers' Party officially adopted the salute before Mussolini did, not vice versa.
Dr. Winkler didn't know about the original U.S. flag salute (1892) that inspired the films, and that the National Socialist German Workers' Party was inspired by the films and by the Pledge of Allegiance. The U.S. changed the salute during WWII.

the best movie made about Wyatt Earp

I am a very big fan of the old west and a very big fan of Wyatt Earp. This movie potrays exactly what happened to the Earps and Doc Holiday. I have read every book by Wyatt earp and this movie goes right along with the worlds of the person who was really there. I have every movie about the O.K. Corral gunfight and this is the best one. If you like westerns then you'll love this movie.

Only Watch if You're A True Kenshin Fan

Out of all the Samurai X OAVs , Reflections has to be the best. It has the most heart , and is the most moving one of the saga. I don't have to say much. See it! You won't regret it. A fitting ending for our favorite rurouni.

Good, Clean, Scary Fun

This film is a creepfest on par with Silence of the Lambs. The writers [and killer] burrow into your mind. How do you outwit a serial killer who has eluded the police for years and who has never actually killed anyone himself? How far do you trust someone that you just met when his death could mean your freedom? What are you truly capable of if your loved ones are in danger? The more that you learn of the protagonists' predicament and the pure evil of their tormentor the more your skin crawls. You'll be looking over your shoulder in dark parking garages after this movie.

Anchorman - The Legend Of Ron Burgundy (Unrated Widescreen Edition) - movie DVD cover picture
Funny, wild and........wierd

Anchorman is definatly not for everybody's tastes. Rauncy, wild and completely out of control, it's nothing like Elf, nor half the innocent romance of Bewitched. Rather, Will Ferrell parades, struts and otherwise flaunts himself at the idea of being serious. Thought to be immature, this comedy can only be enjoyed if you are prepared not to sit down to a very intelligent and sophisticated movie. If you already know that, you're now ready to watch this movie.

Will Ferrell plays Ron Burgandy, a anchorman who is insanely vain, and loved by the people. Its more of a boys club in the news room as his three other buddys Brian Fantana (Paul Rudd,Brick Tamland (Steve Carell) and Champ Kind( David Koechner) do everything except blatantly make fun of the rest of their coworkers. All is fun and games until the boss hires Veronica Corningstone (Christine Applegate.) Its open war between the sexes, a war which becomes even more heated when the unfortunate Veronica finds herself the sole object of adorations from the infatuated Ron Burgandy. But love will have its speed bumps, and this perfect couple is no exception. What happens is comic magic.

With Cameos from Ben Stiller, Luke Wilson, Danny Trejo, Jack Black, and Vince Vaugn there is no stopping the hilarity. If you love Will Ferrell, then I highly recommend this movie.
