lets see jet li returns home to china to find his master has been poisiend and killed(huh!) somebody(s) gonna get their tales wooped.this is LI'S best, just hand to hand martial arts fighting literly in ever scene.and i mean the good stuff thanks to LI and his incredibele ability and also to the greatest fight choriographer in the business WOO-PING YUEN(iron monkey, matrix etc.)i don't believe i'll ever see any anything any better.
the only the out there even close to this(this meaning a martials arts film with realistic fighting and not wire work all the way through)is chan's LEGEND OF THE DRUKEN MASTER. FIST OF LEGEND should go down as a legend,if not the greatest.please make a special edition that includes chinese language with enlish subtitles.the dubbing is kinda poor to the point were its almost funny.GO BUY THIS FILM

One of my all time favorites.

I have read the book and have seen and own all three movie versions (Shirley Temple, BBC and this one) althouh the BBC on has the correct story, this is my favorite. I don't care that they changed the story in fact I liked it better this way. I have probably seen this movie at least 15 times. It is one of my all time favorite movies. My favorite part is when the indian guy does that mind thing with Sara's father and then her father runs outside and screams on the top of his lungs "Sara". That part is so good. I could go on and on about all my other favorite parts but that would take too long and I would end up talking about every scene in the movie. BUY IT!

The band Black Sabbath gets 5 stars

Like every other reviewer here, I was very upset about the way this DVD was compiled. Just like in 'The Black Sabbath Story Vol II', there are interviews right in the middle of performances. Either they cut to the interview room and cut the music out, or the cameras stay on the band and the music is dubbed over with talking. That is the worst example of how not to make a concert video. Espescially not for a veteran band like Black Sabbath who's music stands on it's own and does not need weak spots covered and filled in with interviews.

However, the performance for what you do see is outstanding. The ORIGINAL Sabbath, including Bill Ward, needs to be documented for rock n roll history.

One pet peeve I have is that the song Iron Man is always treated like a red-headed step child. Either Black Sabbath turns it into a medly with 'Children of the Grave' or the shorten it. I thought I could finally hear and see a live performance of Iron Man in its entirty, but alas, I get to hear interviews instead.

If you've never seen the original Sabbath, you need to get this to see what a great drummer Bill really is.

The interviews are insightful, interesting, and funny, but it should have been totally separate from the show.

Moving portayal of a father & son struggling to survive.

Great Film! The realism of the film marks a wonderful relationship of a father and son struggling to survive in post war Italy. On another level, it is the story of Italy fighting to re-integrate itself. The story is emotional. This is what film was meant to be.

Beep, Beep, Ritchie!

Do you remember everything that you were afraid of as a child? Stephen King captured the fears of a child in his classic book "It", while I have not read the book (no one has that kind of time on their hands), I enjoyed this movie very much. "It" has everything: blood, gore, skeletons, mummified creatures, werewolves, decaptitated heads talking, and good, old fashioned fright.
The story revolves around a small town called Derry, Maine (which I'm not sure even exists), that is oblivious to murders committed by a resiliently hidden creature that occasionally makes itself visible as the dancing clown, Pennywise (Tim Curry). Unfortunately, only seven kids in town really know what's going on, and they're 12! Pennywise visits each of the kids and drives them to attempt to get rid of him for good. "The Lucky Seven" as they refer to themselves, go down into the sewers to eradicate the menace, and they suceed, or so they thought.
Of course, as in most horror movies, the killer returns, exactly 30 years after the previous murders. A now middle-aged group returns to the sewers once again, and what awaits them would frighten the wits out of most anyone....

Hilarious comedy!

This movie is one of my favorites. It's a fish-out-of-water comedy about a feminine, ditzy (but actually quite smart) sorority girl, Elle Woods (Witherspoon), who goes to Harvard Law School to get her boyfriend back. She ends up realizing that she's a lot smarter than people give her credit for, and succeeding beyond everyone's expectations including her own. The movie is hilarious the whole way through, and Witherspoon plays her part just perfectly. This is also one of those movies, at least for me, that you can watch over and over again and not get tired of it. I recommend everyone who enjoys comedy to watch this!

Simply one of the finest stories of what soldiers went through in the European Theater of Operations. I am a very dedicated Stephen Ambrose fan, and this miniseries was true to the book. Probably the finest as far as what shelling in a forest must been like. At Bastogne, you can feel the cold these brave men endured. The frostbite looks as real as I have seen, and I am a RN. Stellar performances by the actors. Excellent casting. David Schwimmer as Captain Sobel was a master stroke. Hats off not only to the cast and crew, but eternal thanks to all the men and women of the armed forces. What a fitting tribute to a "Company of Heroes". After reading the book and seeing the series, I feel that I know Bill Guarnere, Richard Winters, "Buck" Compton, and "Bull" Randleman.

Blade II (New Line Platinum Series) - movie DVD cover picture

When the world is threatned by a new and deadlier breed of super vampire the legendary Blade and his mentor Whistler must join forces with the Bloodpack, an elite team of vampire warriors made up of his sworn enemies. In order to stop the carnage these ravenous fiends must be destroyed at all costs. In this high-voltage adventure, exploding with spectular effects and martial arts action. The electrifying Snipes reprises his role from the original cult classic Blade. I thought this was a hell of alot better than the original. I thought the sequel had a better plot, great acting, excellent fight scenes, and nonstop action. If you liked the original, you'll love the sequel. I loved the sequel, alot more than I liked the original. ENJOY!!!!
