Zoolander, so hot right now, Zoolander

If you haven't seen the movie then dont ask about the title. Ok, this movie is probably the second or third funniest movie I have ever seen, along with monty python and some Mel Brooks films. One thing to clear up, I'm 14 so if you dont have a 14 year old sense of humor rent it before you buy it ( i did) but even my parents at 50 found it funny. The movie is about a male model, if you think about it even that is funny. Well I won't give away the movie its too good to deserve that, but i will say that the dvd is packed with great special features. WATCH THESE AFTER THE MOVIE It has the clips of Zoolander when it first started back in 96 and 97 director commentary for the whole movive (if you want it), extended and deleted scenes (which are funny too) and a hidden feature which if you dont want give away dont read past now!go to the second part of the special features menu and highlight the pictures and stills part then press right and the mugatu logo will be highlighted press enter to watch derek and hansel rehearse the walkoff

A Masterpiece!!

This is truely a masterpiece. I remember the first time I saw it I was touched deeply and yet terrified from the moving performance Maria Falconetti gave, in her only picture. The script was taken from the trial of Joan of arc. And I highly recommend this movie to all.

Bewitched - The Complete First Season (Black and White) - movie DVD cover picture

I was reluctant to buy the colorized version of one of my favorite sitcoms of all time. But I couldn't find the Black and White version available in anywhere except Amazon. I didn't want to wait for it so I went ahead and bought the "colorized" version. (I would never do this with Black and White films....I deplore their colorization). But I was pleasantly surprised. The colors look very natural, better in some episodes than others, but still very, very fine nonetheless. Some of the hues are muted....especially the Stephens's front door. But for the most part, the colorization was very, very well done in this case. As for the series itself, what can I say that hasn't already been said. In its initial season we are introduced to the most magical sitcom of all time starring the incomparable Elizabeth Montgomery, the definitive Darrin, Dick York, and of course, the inimitable Agnes Moorehead as Endora. In later episodes we are introduced to Maurice (Sam's father) and Aunt Clara (Marion Lorne) as well as Phyllis and Frank (Darrin's parents). Also prevalent are Abner and Glady's Kravitz (played by George Tobias and in this first season by the wonderful Alice Pearce, who would go on to win an emmy for her role after she died of cancer in 1966 shortly after the second season was over. This series is one of the greatest sitcoms of all time and it is timeless. It was an imaginative, well-written series which garnered several emmy's, nominations and awards. It was ABC's biggest hit during the 1960s. The perfect ensemble cast complete with fun loving and unforgettable characters is a welcome respite from the horrible casts of today's sitcoms. Bewitched left us a lasting legacy....Elizabeth Montgomery was a beautiful classy lady who was kind, compassionate and never garnered a reputation for being difficult. How refreshing it is to have the star of a popular sitcom who is not on a star trip! Get this DVD series. All the episodes are intact, uncut and remastered perfectly. In Classic Black and White or The Colorized Version, Bewitched still packs a wallop 41 years later. That is the case with classic shows done with intelligent production, acting, writing and directing! I can't wait for the rest of the seasons to be released.

The Rockford Files - Season One - movie DVD cover picture
Dallas but no Jimbo?? Come on!

Why do we get full seasons of Dallas (an amusing program but with no substance) but not one season of one of the best crime shows on TV during the 1970's?? I know Rockford does well on TV Land, but isn't it time to give collectors what they want? Hurry up with this one. You have my pledge to buy every season immediately upon release! I can't believe this won't be a huge seller. The show really holds up. The mysteries are actually on par with those in current crime dramas doing well in the ratings. I mean the guy that did the Sopranos (David Chase) started out writing on Rockford Files! Give us JIMBO now!

Creative songs and storylines

All four of these stories are very cute, especially the first one which teaches counting and addition in a fun, creative way. The music is quite impressive. My daughter loves the Dora videos and this one is my favorite.

This is my favorite movie because of all the sexy bod's!

With great pro surfers and breaks that are breathtaking, this movie captures the art of surfing. It just doesn't focus on shredders, but true wave riders that capture the true meaning of surfing and who receive the spiritual side of the sport. With breaks from Hawaii to Bells Beach, Australia, "In God's Hands" is the best surfing movie yet.

One of the best SCI FI action films ever made

The Matrix is one of those films that will have you intrigued from start to finish. Along with action packed mind blowing sequences it offers a mysterious and intersting storyline that is very gripping. The only problem with the Matrix is that the story line can be hard to understand at first, but give it another watch it's well worth understanding.

'The Crow' is awesome in every way!

I loved 'The Crow.' The acting was great, the story line was great, and everything else in the movie was great. It had many different qualities in it; violence, sex, drugs, love, et cetera. 'The Crow' was simply great! It was dark and it keeps you wanting to watch more and more. Brandon Lee is awesome! (Also, if you loved this movie, see Dark City! That is another AWESOME dark and very creative movie! Have fun!)

Another Great Cary Grant Movie I Never Knew About!

This movie reminds me of Miracle on 34th St. It has the same gentle tone, though with a few more villains, and the same quality of cast. Both films used character actors perfectly cast. There are a few scenes that, to modern eyes, are unintentionally funny -- an open hospital ward with ashtrays on the window sills, but the overall effect of the movie is the feeling that if there wasn't a Dr. Noah Praetorius, there should have been. The observations on patient care ring at least as true today as when the movie was made.
