sweet movie

My kids and I love watching this movie together. I have a 6 year old son and an 8 year old daughter and they both think this movie is great, if not a bit over the top in some places.
It's a funny and sweet movie, not too long or too boring. It makes for a great movie night.

Margaret Mitchell . . . the jewel of Georgia

The effort that went into all aspects of this movie is astounding and although it is over 60 years old this movie continues to be one of my favorite movies. I don't know of any story that can even come close to Gone with the Wind and the video was not a disappointment at all. Oscar award winning Vivien Leigh delivers a such a wonderful performance and Clark Gable plays his cool charming self. The costumes are wonderful and the scenery unbelievable. Watch this great classic... but read the book first. :)

"Air Force One. How in the hell did they get Air Force One?"

I walked into the movie theatre expecting one of two things: Either a bore fest or a gore fest. I can now say I was more than than happy with the result. While bordom is nonexistant, the presence of blood is alive and kicking. Personally I believe that the movie does not contain more than a few segments of actual "gore". Each of these instances is easily anticipated, kept rather minimal, and does not last for more than a few seconds. The story line is both simple and complexly woven at the same time. After watching this action phenomenon you can rack you mind of your own family dedication. With wonderful acting (Harrison Ford, Gary Oldman, Glen Close, and Liesel Matthews), astounding special affects, and suspense thick enough to cut with a knife this film can easily become a personal favorite. My advice: A must see. Bring the family, but leave the any small children at home. Remember, you may want to check this film out first. There are scenes which can be debated over violence matters.

Impresionante serie

Maravillosa, increible, 10.

I specifically searched for this movie. I had watched it at th emovie theater and wanted a DVD copy. I enjoy Robin Williams' performance and the comedy in this movie. It is a "good, clean" movie that children can watch without nightmares (except the poor boy in the movie that saw the flying men and car) and isn't filled with profanity.

The other Dragon!

Just like so many others who have seen this movie, I fell in love with it. Everyone fantasies of having a special talent, gift or power. The GLOW is it, its what everyone wanted as kid when being bullied. The ability to take you skills to a supreme level. Not to mention the choreography is wonderful. The acting is good and unlike many movies today. You find yourself cheering at the end for the good guy! I have see The Last Dragon at least 50 times and it never gets old.

Farscape Season 1, Vol. 1 - Premiere/I, E.T. - movie DVD cover picture
Great everything...

Farscape has cool special effects, good actors who play great characters, action, humor, amazing stories and everything you could want in a science fiction triller. This DVD has the first two epsiodes AND lots of extras, including drawings, weblinks, commentary, actor profile on Ben Browder and a 'making of' documentary. The only problem that pops up with the DVDs is I noticed by the fourth one many of the extras are gone, like the commentaries, and I also realized that to get the first season, 22 episodes, you need to get 11 DVDs. That seems like a lot of DVDs or, should I say, few episodes per the DVD. Most series on TV put four to five episodes per DVD, which means with Farscape you end up spending a lot more and end up taking up a lot of space for one show.If I had the money or space it would be worth it. But for right now I think I will focus on other shows. It is just a case of a great show but bad packaging. Try to get it used.

Too Funny To Describe

Wow! I took a chance with this one having seen a couple good reviews and a couple bad ones. But considering Zombie Campout had about three and a half stars over all and considering none of the bad reviews really said anything other than "Bad Movie, duhh..." I decided to say what the hack and buy it along with a couple other B-Movies to save a couple bucks.

I'm very glad I did. It arrived quickly to my door, thanks Amazon, and I watched it a couple days later. Though one of the positive reviews said it's better if you're drunk, I decided to watch it sober. For the first five minutes I thought I bought some kind of strange PORNO but, I didn't.

Here's the breakdown, Acting, pretty cheezy, but I don't think people can really be that bad, so I'm pretty sure it was intentional, or at least I hope so. Story, was actually very decent, and now I know how to get away from zombies, unless they run like the newer zombie films. There were some slower parts, but it gave me time to grab a snack, but all in all I really wanted to know what was going to happen next, and was affraid to miss anything. Prodction value, well again here, it's good and bad, I really thought the effects, though old school and well basically campy, were GREAT! Some of the other problems, like bad sound and lighting problems were a little distracting, but it really didn't bother me that much. Overall I thought the flaws kinda added to the whole "Independent B-Movie" feel of it.

I should take off stars for the whole intermission thing, but all in all it really made me laugh out loud. I have since subjected about a dozen of my buddies to Zombie Campout, and yes there was beer involved. It is totally worth it!!
