X-Men Is An Amazing Big Screen Film

Being a fan of the X-Men, I was very excited to see this movie come out on the big screen. Many people have already said what I wanted to so I won't go into all of that. The main thing I loved about the movie was the messege. The X-Men aren't loved by society like many heros are. They are hated by the general population. I think that it's very important that humans learn to accept each other for our differences. If you haven't seen this movie yet, go see it. It's worth every penny.

Simply the best of the best..

[...] The viewer isn't bombarded with a lot of phoney medical mumbo jumbo or a 100 candle hot tub scene which is so prevalent in lesser offerings. Simply a straight forward professionally done presentation of a very sensitive senual woman, providing plesure for herself and the viewer that is real and honest as life itself. One doesn't fake the engorgement of one's major/minor labia, tripling their size while the viewer watches in amazment at the color change from a dark amber to a bright splash of rose petal red. The physical transformation alone is worth the price of the video, as it is riveting to watch this metamorphosis take place right before your eyes. A composed self-confident woman who can truly and honestly pleasure herself is a rarity to see on film, since Hollywood has stereotyped the female climax as some wild screamer who bounces about flailing her arms and legs, expecting us to believe she is actually climaxing. None of that here, thank God. Besides the obvious external physical changes, watch the involuntary pulsing of her anus and vaginal muscles, watch her tightly sealed lips suddenly pop apart revealing the vaginal opening as those internal organs release the obvious tension she has built up. I found myself absolutely glued to the screen, I simply couldn't take my eyes away from this incredible sight as she continued to work and pleasure her body, the only word that comes to mind is powerful.I was so taken by this one video, I tracked down the group of talented young professionals and ordered their entire inventory of work, another half dozen films, I rest my case. g. mack

I absolutely adore this movie! If you like hot guys amd kick ass music, this is a must have. I've seen this movie 100s of times and can still watch it without being bored. All girls will want to marry Christian Bale. His performance and cuteness are comparable to those in Little Women. I seriously reccomend it.

Excellent DVD Box Set

Well, what can you say about "I Love Lucy"? As a die-hard Lucille Ball fan, this is from the time where she was at the top of her game as a comedic actress. Mostly everyone has seen at least one episode of I Love Lucy and this second season collection has some of the most memorable episodes of the entire series. Little Ricky's birth, the "Job Switching", the first time Lucy is seen playing the saxophone, and the list goes on and on. There are a lot of episodes with Ricky singing down at the club too.
As for the collection itself, I am glad that CBS reduced the pricing but not the content. As with the first season, you get Lucille Ball's radio program, "My Favorite Husband", one episode per disc. All of which were episodes later turned into "I Love Lucy" Episodes. That's the added bonus that made me buy this set. The digital remastering is fantastic, with the video quality looking better than ever. The sound quality is excellent and the chapter navigation through the episodes is quite convenient and easy. And you get to see each episode uncut. It is amazing to see what was cut out in the syndication versions, some cuts were more than three minutes long.
This is a must-have for any Lucille Ball fan.

Storm of the Century, movie of the century

Storm of the Century is from the horror mastermind Stephen King. In my opinion, this is one of his best works. It showed me that some people are so full of greed that they would give up one of their own children to evil so that their own lives would be saved. What happens is that this small coastal Maine town has a horrific storm blow in. With it comes an evil man who faces the quiet town with a tough choice to make, to either give him one of the town children or the whole town will be killed. What really shocked me was that all of them wanted to give up a child except for one man who was willing to die. Those other people made me sick, they were so in love with themselves that they wanted what was convenient for them, that they could live. They could really care less about their children. The plot in this movie was very creative and the actors were fabulous. There was also a little bit of history plugged into the movie. The story about the settlers in Maine who suddenly dissapeared and all that was left was the word CROATAN carved into a tree. It suggests that they were willing to die. Although the movie contains some murder scenes that may not appeal to the squirmish, there are some really good special effects. Especially the scene with the raving sea rushing beneath the dock while people are up on top of it. I really suggest that you rent this movie and experience it for yourself.

Culturally Interesting

I purchased this DVD after hearing the soundtrack, which I immediately loved. I found the movie to be an average story, however it is very authentic in terms of the actors and location. Nothing is worse than having to bear through fake accents and mannerisms. Not to worry here, the actors in this movie are 100% Jamaican and provide a richness to the script that exceeds the actual story line. From what I understand, the movie also holds historical value as it projected the main character (singer Jimmy Cliff) into the mainstream, which subsequently propelled reggae music outside of the Carribean.

Soulfly - The Song Remains Insane - movie DVD cover picture

This is one AWESOME slice into the heart of life that exemplifies the Soulfly Tribe. Max Cavalera is living breathing example of what one can achieve if they truly believe.

A superb and compelling documentary covering almost a decade of devotion to his craft that sees Max at his best- on stage and at home. He lets down his guard and shares his story of living (and loving) life to the fullest creating uniquely heavy inspirational music to delight fans worldwide.

Sure, the hardcore fan will be pleased with the requisite 4 videos (one from each Soulfly album to date) and the abundance of promised live performance shots but the heart and soul of this release is the interviews from the Phoenix desert and the "behind the scenes" footage which provide an exclusive backstage pass into family Cavalera- a true tribe united.

A trendsetter in his own right, Max arrived from Brazil to earn acclaim. His message certainly comes from deep in the heart and provides the temptation to absorb the emotion pouring out of the music. Staying true to one's roots and beliefs is very honorable and this underlying trait comes through in abundance on this riveting collection.

After watching the 90 minutes of music, mayhem and the man I'm sure you will agree that the song surely does remain insane for one who has overcome tragedy and adversity to rise above and persevere. Empowered by faith and commitment, believing in experimentation for the sake of growth.

Bringing substance over style and progressing through the course of one's career is the secret of life. And Max Cavalera proves it here. He is genuinely real. Enjoy this slice of life the Soulfly way!

Kid Movie A Parent Can Enjoy!

As a mother of three, I have been forced to watch some pretty lame videos in my day. This movie has some laugh out loud lines that maybe the kids missed, by my husband and I loved. Wish more kid movies had the quality of writing that this one does. This was a funny movie that made watching the twins bearable.

Patton - movie DVD cover picture
A fitting tribute to a man larger than life

General George Patton was one of the greatest Americans. Period. That's why only a movie as good as this one could portray his greatness.
Patton is a three hour epic about the eccentric military genius, played by the great George C. Scott. This is a typical "man movie," filled with exciting action shots and plenty of bravado. George C. Scott's Patton is charismatic, a bit crazy, and incredibly inspiring. The film is very informative, and it solifdifies General Patton's reputuation as the only military commander feared and respected by the Nazis.
i didn't know much about Patton before watching this, but I feel like I have a pretty good understanding of him now. The producers of the film set out to make this a biopic about General Patton and his colorful personality. What resulted from their efforts, however, was a movie that glorified war more than any movie could. Don't expect it to be like Saving Private Ryan, it's more of a romanticized look at one individual and a bygone era.
The DVD contains plenty of special features, including previews of other Fox war movies and a "making of" video. I particularly enjoyed watching that, because of Oliver Stone's funny argument that "Patton" was the direct cause for the invasion of Cambodia.
If you're looking for history films, look no further than Patton. It's quite a long film, but it takes that long to give justice to a man like General Patton.
