A Walk to Remember - movie DVD cover picture

I just got back from seeing "A Walk To Remember," and, wow...this movie is so amazing. The acting is great, the story is good and the chemistry between Mandy Moore and Shane West is phenomenal. How often do you see a teen singer in a movie that's actually good? This blew me away. Oh, and another thing, if you're a guy (and I am) this movie will make you tear up halfway through and definitely at the end. I mean, I've never cried at a movie in my life, and I didn't really cry in this one, but tears will come to your eyes. Go see this movie!'re awesome!

It's about time a gay series gays can relate to!

Absolutely wonderful. A series that I can relate too. Some roles are a bit excessive, but it's like this on all shows to make a point. Exceptionally filmed, edited and professionally done.

Another star gone too soon

I highly reccomend this DVD, one of the finest works from a great tallent.

Alas, Carrot Top is another great, talented man who died before his time. Much like Sam Kinnison, Phil Hartman, and Andy Kaufman, Carrot Top will be missed. And much like these other great men, I feel that if Carrot Top had a few more years on earth, he would have gone on to do much greater work than we've already seen. Sure, it seems like it would be impossible to top his finest hour, "Chairman Of The Board", but I believe Carrot Top could have gone on to even greater hights.

He will be missed.

I Love This Season i like how darla came back human especially she's kool and Angel but it was sad how she died in season 3 when she had connor. She should have stayed human not a vampire so she didn't have to die when she had connor. I like Lorne Character he's a Nice,Kool, and Funny Demon I like his powers to read peoples feelings i think i forgot but its kool.

A GOOD FILM or "Alot of you people are jerks!"

Jeez,.. the last reviewer is a lame-o. So, you didn't like this guy's movie. We get it. Get over yourself and find a hobby. I actually liked the film. It ain't academy award material but, whatever. There are alot worse movies out there. I met Mike Kallio at a screening at the Egyptian Theatre in Hollywood in June (2003) and he was a very nice guy. He knows his movie is't the best but, he GOT IT DONE! That takes alot of drive and determination. Where's the last reviewer's movie,.. OH WAIT! He probably doesn't have one. I gave this movie 5 stars because I wish I could make a film and this guy had the guts to spend 9 years on his dream. Don't be a lame-o like the last guy,.. The commentary with Bruce Campbell and Mike Kallio is worth it (Very imformative if you want to be in the business). Check it out,.. It's a creepy little film.

This is the most adorable movie. And the first theater movie we took our daughter to...I had to buy this one as a keepsake. Amazing after not seeing this what these little ones remember...we couldn't get her away from watching it!!!

Third Watch or Bust

Being a dedicated Third Watch junkie I agree with all the other reviews....not having Third Watch on DVD is a disservice to its loyal fans. I am a Paramedic in Canada and Third Watch gets me pumped. It couldn't get more accurate or realistic. It is a fabulous show... I tape it so I can watch it over and over again. Anyone I ever meet knows within minutes what my favourite tv show is... Many people I know now watch it because of my enthusiasm. Due to work and long shifts I do sometimes miss the VCR watches it for me in those circumstances but there would be nothing better then having the episodes in my DVD library.

Warner Bros listen up...the fans are pleading...bring Third Watch to DVD!!

Life-affirming film

Winged Migration is amazing, easily one of the best documentaries of all time. Being a big 'animal' person I eagerly took my like-minded girlfriend to see this after hearing only little about it. We were in awe for 90 minutes of it, and HORRIFIED for 15. After the 1st scene of one of the birds dying, I felt like I couldn't enjoy the movie anywhere near as much from that point as you never know when, out of the blue, something terrible would happen. Reading the other reviews here, I am shocked that others didn't have the same reaction- it seems so 'front and center' to me.
I know it is a documentary, not a 'pro-bird' film- I understand why you would want to show nature as it is- beautiful and savage. But I think the director/s made a horrible decision to leave in some absolutely heartbreaking and terrifying footage of the animals being killed or hurt. What about all the parents who want to show a movie so amazing to their children? The film as-is makes that very hard to do.
We all know animals die and are killed. The scenes in question were unecessary and hurt what is otherwise a film everyone should see.
