Way fun

I've been dying to get my hands on this DVD for a while now, and when I finally saw it, I was very glad I did indeed get it.The main focus of this DVD is their April 2002 first UK tour. You get to actually sit back and enjoy a full show, whit costume changes, and the refreshing thing is that these girls can really sing! They do very well live. I enjoyed the one hour behind the scenes as you get to watch Natasha, Jenny and Elizabeth rehearsing, being silly, doing their makeup, and being really tight friends. The are teh kinds of girls who are purely wonderful and not catty and snobby like other pop stars.I usually preffer rock music and soundtracks, but i cant resist the Atomic Kitten charm. Great buy!A+

Powerhouse Performance

Another great performance by Brando. A powerful performance in a powerful movie about the triumph of the little guy. Wonderful dialogue and a great message about the power of the common man. Rod Steiger, Lee J Cobb, Karl Malden and Eva Saint Marie are also wonderful but Brando's performance of shame and guilt and frustration and sadness is a tour de force.

Karl Malden

SO much Better than Mask One

I thought the first Mask movie was good. But this one is so much better, so much more going on, so much funnier. The first movie was all about Jim Carrey. This movie has a lot of stories going on at once. It's charming and hilarious and much better for kids and adults. As a fifth grade schoolteacher I approve.

Haunting Doppelganger

Eerie identity loss, transference--the other self. Surreal effect heightened by B budget and inappropriate music. Subtle and thought-provoking use of image echos, mirrors, and shadows. Right up there with noir's other great doppelganger movies, The Scar (Hollow Triumph) and Desert Fury.

Excellent movie, MUST be released on DVD!!

This has long been one of my favorite films. Matthau is at his droll, cantankerous, witty best. The romance between Matthau's and Glenda Jackson's characters is understated and nicely done. The scenery is beautiful, the soundtrack is classic(al), the bad guys are a bit cartoonish, but the humor and excitement fly, and I love this film.

TERRIFIC.

JAWS 2 is a great movie. I enjoyed how everyone was stranded out in the ocean in the sailboats and when they came to be rescued JAWS would come and ruin everything. This was an awesome movie. Now, time for JAWS 3!

The Best CGI film ever made

Let's face it - anyone who uses brand new CGI technology is on to a winner, but how does Pixar do it? Their films are so meticulously detailed, so beautiful and perfectly casted, it's unreal. ABL is better than Toy Story, not least because of the (literally) thousands of neat touches which make a superlative film into something just that little bit more special. The story follows Flik, an inventor ant who is shunned by the rest of his colony on account of his clumsiness and his need to be different. On the way, he hires a certain motley crew of circus bugs to head off some rather troublesome grasshoppers (led by the awesome Kevin Spacey). The film also explores moral issues, and is of course technically stunning to anyone in the animation business (the initial reason why I went to see it - but came out with a thousand different ones for going!). On top of this is the obvious, and very colourful appeal to kids, who will, basically put, ADORE this film. Bye it, Love it, get the T-shirt, and start praying for the impending sequel!

Dave Foley
Kevin Spacey

A MOVIE WITH SOUL

First off, I usually don't like soul music, R&B, whatever you want to call it. I can like anything but bluegrass, country, and rap. But I must admit that, even if you don't normally like soul, this movie will make you a believer. I had to watch this film in my college film class. I must say that I was VERY impressed, and even more so after I heard the following from my film teacher concerning this film: 1-The lead singer(the chubby one, can't miss 'em) was only 16! but he sang GREAT! Like a pro, even. 2-This movie is full of first-time actors, and that is because it was open-audition for all or nearly all parts. With that in mind, someone did a great job in casting this movie. This is one of those movies that keeps your eyes riveted to the screen. There's some comical moments, as well as some normal moments as well. At times you feel like you're watching a live music video. A very well done film, that reminds me in some respects of the Blues Brothers, which I also like. Apart from the language, there isn't much to the R rating. Overall an outstanding film about a bunch of Dubliners singing music that is normally associated with African-Americans. Buy it today and enjoy!
