Vive Les Miz!

If you haven't already seen this 'concert' version of Les Mis, and you're a fan, you'll need to get this DVD.
Included are:
- An interesting timeline of Victor Hugo- Pictures and backgrounds of all the major performers- A great version of "Do you hear the people sing" by some of the many international Jean Valjeans- LYRICS! Yes, you can 'choose' to see lyrics and sing along! (By far the best part!)
This is, of course, not like the Broadway version but a once in a lifetime chance to see some of the best performers who have done Les Mis including many of the original cast. With only their voices and costumes (and virtually NO props like on the broadway version) you'll gain true admiration for their work!
If you've never heard of Les Mis...get his it...then be hooked for life!

one of the best sci-fi in life time

I can understand how people complaint a lot about this very unscientific Sci-fi. I've managed to accept it at my first visit in theater. Mostly because they did it all the way to end like telling u right in the face "this is how we wanna play it". The diagnoue r very cartoony that actually help a lot to digest the whole picture, since the whole show is like a big cartoon. And I like cartoon and animation so I dun find myself having problem to accept it. Once u beyond that point, the whole show is really joyful, MTV grabage my ass, it rocks and thrill and its all that matter. The only thing that distingulish good movies from bads is, it doesnt matter which way they plot and design the show, the question is just "how much" can they pull off from the emotion they are trying to deliver originally, this movie is about rocking fun with space as its background and they do hit it right for me. Just sit back and enjoy 2 hrs cinimatic fun.

PLEASE read the manga first!

Don't get me wrong, I LOVE gto, I'm a hardcore fan of gto and I would live on a deserted island if only I had my gto (the manga), which brings me to my point. The manga is MUCH better .. not because the animation is bad (on the contrary I think it's pretty good) but because gto is such a plot filled story that in the anime all that plot was just sucked away. The most important details that in the manga explain everything and the clues and hints given to you volume by volume, are not in the anime. Regardless of that, is SOOOOO GOODD i recomend you to go buy it NOW !!! it's hilarious, original and has deep plot (not the kind of plot that u just want to puke and die, on the contrary) very good plot, and the characters are complex(more on the manga ..much much more). With that said, if u can get your hands on the manga before you see the anime it would be awesome and you will understand what I mean. There's 25 volumes with the 24th out now. Almost over .. :'(
You just can't get enough of GTO, it's an addiction, :D

Absolutely Hilarious!

I saw this movie yesterday with a friend and we both loved it. It's about a guy (Vince Vaughn) who owns a crappy little gym called Average Joe's with only a few very dedicated members. Across the street, there's a bigger, more fancy gym owned by Ben Stiller's charcater. Stiller tries to buy out Average Joe's, but Vaughn and the very dedicated members of his gym simply don't want to leave it. They have to come up with $50,000 to keep the gym, so they all decide to play in a dodgeball tournament with a grand prize of $50,000. Stiller's character finds out, so he and his crew enter the tournament just to beat out Vaughn.
Stiller is amusing in his role, but I don't really think he's that funny. The funniest character in the movie is definetly Patches, the crazy washed-up ex-dodgeball player who trains his team by throwing wrenches at them. Why are the crazy people always so much fun to laugh at?
But anyway, this is a mostly entertaining film. A few jokes fall flat, but for the most part, it'll get the laughs out of you. If you enjoy pirates, crazy people, cheerleaders or the sport itself, dodgeball is for you.
P.S.: THEY MENTION MY BAND'S NAME, "JABBERWOCKY", IN THE MOVIE. How much ass does that kick?

5-star Silliness - Dare to Be Grumpy After This Movie

Zoolander a very silly movie, more appropriate for adults, that tries to be nothing but silly. If you are having a bad day, this is a movie to watch. Pair this with Monty Python's Flying Circus' silly little fish-slap dance, Carol Bernett's take on "Gone With the Wind," "Cold Comfort Farm" (among others). Every detail seems to provoke a giggle playing off cliches.

this gets better and better

I am a believer and will remain a believer even though I do not know every single name that Mytique saw on the computer printout (I do know Remy, however). It was also great to get a brief view of beast and colossus (kind of gets us salivating for the next one) but real X-men fans can tell you the pleasures and disappointments of each and ever character. This is not a movie you see once. This demands repeated viewings just so you can get it all straight. With question like; "Why didn't Lady blackhawk and Wolverine know each other" you know that there is some controversy here. If you don't have a scorecard then just ask your kids or just enjoy the ride.

Terrific Information

This video on DS and the experts and families who contributed were very helpful. I read 3 books on the topic over the first month after the birth of my son, but I found this video to be the most helpful--would highly recommend to any family now facing this life-changing event!
