Surprisingly hysterical

Nobody will deny that this movie is juvenile and not to be taken seriously. However, the film seems often to be poking fun at itself and coupled with the hysterical cameo of Bob Saget along with Snoop Doggy Dogg, Willie Nelson, John Stewart, and more. The movie is actually very clever and pokes fun at everything from Dead Presidents to Jerry McGuire. It's no Citizen Kane, but it's really just a very entertaining flick.

Surprisingly Excellent Movie

I was very surprised at how wonderful this movie was. My daughter (4 years old), couldn't stop laughing. My husband, myself and my Mother all enjoyed it as well. The movie had wonderful music, storyline and cinematography. I would recommend it to every family. The title does not do it justice. I would see this movie again. It reminded me of the movie Paulie.

Great compilation

Scooby-Doo is one of the great TV cartoon stars, and the show, while cartainly fairly flimsy in the plot department (although pretty strong compared some of the other H-B cartoons), is still as entertaining as ever.
This disc has the first five episodes in order (unlike most of the other discs, which are just random collections of episodes), which is a welcome change to the compilation discs and tapes. However, as always, the special features basically stink if you're above the age of like 8, and there still hasn't been any sort of series (or season) box set, so if you want the episodes in order, this is it.

This is so cool! Starring with all these problems going around Belldandy, The motor race, belldandy's mentor and loads more!. The pictures are beautiful. I, myself, is a total anime fan. I think this is one of Anime's best movie. (Considering that it has a good plot and pretty drawings. hehe, ^_^)

Predator (Full-Screen Edition) - movie DVD cover picture
One of Ahhnold's best movies

This action-packed sci-fi film starring Arnold Schawarzenegger is one of my all-time favorite films. Arnold is the leader of an elite U.S rescue squad who are assigned in the South America jungle to search for officials taken hostage by Guerrilla fighters. When they get to the green fested jungle, they discover skinned bodies and realize who could have done this? The team destroy the rebel encampment despite rescuing zero hostages. Mission accomplished, the team are suddenly being targeted by an alien creature picking them off one at a time. Arnold, now the only one left, uses his brains instead of brawn in to survive against a larger and more smarter being out of this world. The special effects and the action are well done here. The suspense and the vast amount of blood are relivent throughout the film. I love the scene when the Predator shoots off a soldier's arm and then the arm is still triggering the gun. The Predator's weapons are very eleborate. It has a sort of laser weapon on its shoulder and has the ability to become self-invisible. Arnold is the man. The guy has the best lines. "Predator" is filled with flair and the pace is outstanding. It should be in everyone's film library.

The Passion of the Christ (Full Screen Edition) - movie DVD cover picture
Speechless

In a single word this film is Awesome. It communicates vividly precisely what the Lord Jesus Christ, the Only Son of God, was willing to do for us men and our salvation (to borrow words from the Nicene Creed). Some may decry the differences with historical accuracy (placement of the nails, Pilate's use of eccesial Latin, etc.). They miss the point. The Passion is not a documentary. It is an artistic representation of the suffering of Christ. A suffering and death that He willingly accepted out of love for us all.
Gibson does a marvelous job (following the Gospels and tradition) presenting the audience with a variety of characters with which we may identify. Whether it be the Mother Mary, Peter, Simon, Veronica or someone else (perhaps even Judas Iscariot), I believe that we each can relate to at least one character in someway. Personally, I related to Mary (strange, for a man). This is probably because my natural inclination when I think of the crucifixion is to feel sorrowful joy and peace. Sorrow at the sin of man, joy at the Provision of God through Christ, and peace that Reconciliation has come. God's Divine Plan of salvation is one brimming over with self-giving Love. And that is the Truth that Gibson communicates.
May God bless us and keep us from harm. May He lead us to eternal life. Amen

A great DVD! The commentary track and bonus featurette are a fantastic addition to this great sci-fi classic. Unfortunately, none of the footage tossed by MGM is available, so we will never see the 3 minute love shop scene! This is my personal favorite of classic 70's science fiction, buy it now!!

EXPLOSIVE!!!

The vice president is dead, and the president (Jeff Bridges) is getting ready to make his choice for a replacement.
Senator Laine Hanson (Joan Allen in a role written especially for her) is the nominated choice, making her the first woman in history to hold the office.
Hidden agenda's explode, as the president's rival Shelly Runyon (Gary Oldman) plans to stop at nothing to keep Laine out of office.
"The Contender" is a riveting thriller, that depicts the lies, and manipulation used in the game of politcs. From the first frame you are glued to your seat; not knowing who to trust, or what lie will surface next, the plot twist and turns exposing one shock after another. For two hours you are entertained, as the movie culminates in a powerful, and satisfying ending.
Joan Allen is excellent as the senator; she lights up the screen with an intense, heartfelt performance. Jeff Bridges, in one of his best performances in years, plays president Jackson Evans, a man with his own agenda. Gary Oldman is magnificent (as usual) as the bad guy, Shelly Runyon. Also on hand are Sam Elliot, Christian Slater, and William Petersen in terrific supporting roles.
The DVD contains lots of extras including commentary with writer/director Rod Lurie, and actress Joan Allen, as well as many deleted scenes.
"The Contender" is one of the best films of the year, and a MUST own for thriller fans.

THE BOMB!

I bought this video before it even came out and when I received it I watched it like 2 or 3 times that day. I have watched it over a hundred times already and still can't get enough of it! I love the part where Usagi opens her eyes and sees the caterpiller in her face and flys back! That part is hilarious! I also like the part when Chibiusa gives Usagi the little pep talk in the tunnel. I own the whole Sailor Moon s, Super S and Stars subtitled episodes and I think that this movie has the second best battle (the Sailor Stars battle was the best). So I totally recommend that EVERYONE buys this video!
