Please Pass The Kleenex...

Where do I begin? This is one of my most favorite romantic movies of all time! To say it was sweet and yet sad does not even begin to do it justice. This movie draws you in heart and soul. You feel sorry for Adam's tragic life of being left alone as a child because of his bad heart. Then you feel bad for him because he is alone as an adult. Yet at the same time, you feel bad that Caroline can't find love or a decent guy to share time with. Then she finds Adam! When Adam saves her from two rapists, you can't help but believe that chivalry is alive again! You can see Slater and Tomei's chemistry together and they just seem to "fit". One of the most touching parts of the movie for me was when Caroline was cutting Adam's hair and they had a beautiful conversation and he opened his heart about being alone because the Nuns felt it better not to hurt his health by letting him be out with people. Slater did an excellent job of portraying his loneliness, but he also showed a gentleness you don't see in the movies much these days. Adam (Slater) opens up to Caroline and she sees that he has a heart of gold. Caroline (Tomei) did an excellent job taking Adam's love and the two fell in deep! If you love romance movies, you will love this! You will be rooting for the characters all the way! This movie is one you can watch over and over again and never get tired of it. Rent it, or better, "Buy it" today!!!

Star Wars, Episode III - Revenge of the Sith (Widescreen Edition) - movie DVD cover picture
Amazing, wonderful, what I wanted to see.

Revenge Of The Sith is an amazing film.I've been waiting to see it for years, ever since i first saw Episode IV.I'm not a lifelong fan,I wasn't born when the films came out but I loved all of them.Anyway, back to my review. The acting wasn't great, but it was an improvement to episode II.The special effects were amazing and the battle scenes breathtaking. Not much else I can say apart from the fact that I loved seeing Vader again. What a thrill! Also i'd like to ask a question that's been bothering me.If Vader is so strong(as shown when everything started exploding when he was told of Padme's death)and is the chosen one, with an amazing connection to the Force and years of Jedi training, how could he possibly lose to Luke, who only trained for months(if i'm correct) and hadn't even had a clue about anything a year ago?

great movie, bad specials

I'm into alot of sub-culture/underground type films and this is a great movie. I only gave it 4 stars though for following the ever popular trend of nazi skinheads so glorified and exploited by the likes of Morton Downey and Geraldo Rivera to boost ratings on their half baked daytime talk shows. If this movie more accuratly portrayed the ska/oi/hardcore/skinhead sub-culture, this may have been on my top 10 list. Russell Crowe does a great job and honestly this movie is the reason I'm willing to check out all his other movies, if he can take on a topic such as this and still win you over, he must be doing his job pretty well.

Chicago (Widescreen Edition) - movie DVD cover picture
Razzle Dazzle and All That Jazz!

Upon hearing of this movie musical, I was unsure how it would be done, considering the track record of movie musicals, a majority of them usually don't have too many songs breaking up the dialogue, either that, or they're pure musicals, all song and NO dialogue. I had never seen the Broadway Musical, but I did know of it thanks to my girlfriend, who has seen the musical and exposed me to the soundtrack about a year or so earlier. Being that I came into this film without seeing the stage version, it meant that I would be unbiased, and would have no basis for comparison, which was good. Regardless of that, I have to say that the movie version of 'Chicago' is simply.... OUTSTANDING!!! I was fully entranced, it was magical, it was funny, it made me feel GREAT!! And to people who have seen the stage version, you'll love this film. The acting, the singing, everything about this film was simply on point. Catherine Zeta-Jones put in a fabulous performance as Velma Kelly, with some zest, pizazz, attitude, some fancy footwork, and some great singing as well. Renee Zellwegger definitely did a fabulous job as Roxy Hart, with her cupie dolls looks and Betty Boop voice, she was great. What surprised me the most was the absolutely extraordinary performance given by Richard Gere. I had no idea he could sing, or dance for that matter, but he does both exceptionally well. His portrayel of Billy Flynn simply oozed with charm, wit, smooth slickness, but enough heart to make him a loveable character, despite the fact that he's an opportunistic slimeball. all in all, this is a fabulous film, something that will leave you smiling well after you've left the theater.

My Favorite Movie Ever

Everyone in the cast is a wonderful actor and actress. This is magnificent. The lines are an art form in themselves. There never was and never will be another movie as good as this, of its type. This movie has it all, witty conversation, love, fine drama and probably the best lines I've ever heard in a movie in my 57 years. Also great development of characters and this movie really works. Trust me on this one. This is a treasure, a must have.

Great Movie!

I'm not sure what the people who wrote a bad review about this movie were watching. This is a great epic. Yes it may be a wee bit long, but its worth the 3 hours to watch it. This movie tells a story of a man named Benjamin Martin. He at first opposes to fighting the british, but then seeks revenge on them for killing his son. So what if this movie seems a little "hollywood-esque" its a great thing to watch. No one really cares if it was historically correct or completely realistic and accurate to those times. Just watch it and have fun with it. Thats what it was meant for.

Gundam Wing the Movie - Endless Waltz (Special Edition) - movie DVD cover picture

Other then DBZ, I would have to say that Gundam Wing is the best Anime title out there, and the movie just makes it better. The Animation is the best I have seen since transformers the movie, which I also highly recommend to any big kids out there. It really does wrap up the Gundam Wing story line very well, even if there are some small flaws in it, like with the Gundams being different then the ones in the series, that does bother me that they didn't keep their Gundams. Don't get me wrong the new Gundams look great but it would have been better if they made an explanation in which the Gundam Pilots upgraded them, but all well its only a small flaw, at best. Other then that this is a great movie and I must say that Talgesse III looks great. So for now, GO AND BUY THIS MOVIE.
