Musical Wishes Fullfilled

Although Keiko has trouble interviewing and coming off as confident personally, it's obvious her strengths are in performing and writing music which rivals George Winston in it's emotional impact and draw on the soul. Sometimes you may feel she is perhaps heading no where with a piece only to realize that even the gaps have been placed there for effect. Her repetitive speach in her short interviews between pieces reflects much of her concentration on the hypnotic. This brought up references to...of all things, Led Zepplin music.... but don't get me wrong there is no crunch and munch here... the effect is much more beautiful and soothing, and thankfully there is no wailing. :-) If you like to watch your musicians, this is a great video, for every part, be it bass, drums or someone who plays the oriental reed pipe...yes, they put jazz backing to the kind of music you once heard only on Kung Fu... amazing!!! Best thing since Vanessa Mae for people of all races and musical colors. Buy it now!

An incredible movie!

People who complain that this movie doesnt follow the final fantasy games odviously dont have a clue what they are talking about. This movie was NEVER MENT to follow ANY of the games. It's not even set in the same UNIVERSE that the games were done in. It was given the name Final Fantasy because it was made by Squaresoft and fit in with the TYPE of plot they used for some of the games in that series. As for the movie itself, I was blown away. The graphics are far beyond anything I have ever seen, and there were times when I had to remind myself it was not a live action movie. I found the plot incredibly good (except for some over acted lines) but I can see how some people might not like it. The plot is very different in some philosophies then what you see in the western world, and some people simply dont appreciate it.Over all I enjoyed this movie far more then anything else that came out over the summer, and I highly recomend it to anyone who has an interest.

Excellent adaptation and a must-have for your video library!

I'm a huge Tolkien fan, and this movie definitely helped introduce many, many people to the fantastic universe of his stories. Amazingly, it did also try its best to follow the storyline pretty well. The voices are VERY well done, and the dialogue also is great.
It really gets across the *feelings* that were in the book, which are often hard to convey in a movie format. I highly recommend this to anyone who loves the Tolkien stories, and if you haven't read them yet, this might be the perfect introduction!

How to Deal (New Line Platinum Series) - movie DVD cover picture
The best movies ever!!

There are so many teen movies out there, and that's not necessarily a bad thing. But alot of the teen movies available today are well what Hollywood THINKS teen life is like. What's good here and new is that the plot of this story is very realistic to teen life in America. There's nothing wrong with a film teens can relate to, and I personally feel this is one of the best ever. From teen pregnancy to divorce to first love, this about sums it up. Halle is a teenage girl of course, and I felt like Mandy Moore played her brilliantly, probably because Mandy could relate to her character in alot of ways. Halle's parents are getting divorced, her dad just doesn't understand her, nobody thinks she's smart or trustworthy and she just doesn't believe in love. Her whole life she has witnessed people doing the exact thing: FALLING in love. And like she says in the film, why do they call it "falling" anyways? She's seen so many people get hurt because of love, therefore she wants to protect herself. When her bestfriend's boyfriend dies of a heart deffect, her friend comes to find out that she's pregnant. Not only is the father passed away, she has to raise this baby on her own. Halle has to deal with lots of trust issues in the film & whether or not to take a chance on the person she thinks she could possibly fall in love with...Meckin. A summary would make this movie sound cliche, but it's not. The cast is remarkable and the grandmother puts a nice light spin on the story..."Oh boy, do I have the munchies!" This movie will make you laugh, cry and well as relate. So if you want to see a film that's light-hearted and just about growing up & discovering what love REALLY is, then this is a film for you. It's not for a certain age or sex, anyone can relate, it's as simple as that. So make sure you go see this movie, because you will like it just as much as I did. Watching Halle learn How To Deal is everything that a good movie should be.

bloody..... bloody..... and even more blood!

Well it was out in theaters... made no money.
This movie is amazing. down to every last detail. The line is "You are who you eat".
The directing and acting was excellent. Robert Carlye (Full Monty & Trainspotting and 007 WOrld not enough) and GUy Pierce (LA Confidential) was in this one and they just went full out in this movie.
This was about a army military post during the civil war, and they discover the strengths of eating people.... or something like that...
It was freaky, disgusting and pretty freaky.... entertaining . I think it's a guys flick since I've never ever seen more blood in a movie! The last scene was a blast, my friend and I were like saying "All they need left is a butcher knife..." and voila they used one. hahaha the last scene is the longest and most bloodest scene I've ever seen! Good stuff for fans of gore.
but the plot was quite interesting and there characters were very well casted. David Arquette as a bumbling moron.... genius!
overall, after watching the movie I just had a great unease in going hiking up in the woods. You never know who you might meet.

I loved this movie!

I'd put off watching this for a long time because I thought, "These guys are going to take it all off? Erm... I'm not sure I want to see them with it all off!" But finally, after two years, I worked up the nerve to rent it, and was I surprised. I found myself sitting in my living room HOWLING with laughter! These Chippendales wannabes are far from perfect, and they know it. I think that's what makes it all so outrageously funny. Having seen the movie once, I only wish the strip scenes had been longer!
The dialog wasn't very hard to follow, despite the thick accents. I was kept laughing throughout. I'll be watching this one again!
