Not what I expected....

What can I say? This DVD blew me away. I was expecting poor quality....shady pictures from a 'not so mainstream' atrist. I was mistaken!! Every video on here just blows me away!! Seriously!
Isobel is THE most dream like enchantment I have ever experienced!
You'll love this DVD! Buy it if you're a Bjork fan!

Better and better and better.....

After viewing this outstanding concert on HBO (at least 10 times) I've come to the conclusion that this DVD is a MUST HAVE for all Janet fans. She is incredible, as usual, but mixing the All For You songs into her rich history of hits makes this an electrifying and fun to watch DVD. The Would You Mind compilation is a wonderful bonus and the DVD is incredibly user friendly. Highlights include Missy Elliot's wonderful ( but all too brief ) appearance and the undeniably killer Trust A Try costume/choreography (my personal favorite). A great addition to anyone's DVD collection.

One of the few Catholic friendly movies from Hollywood

Exact historical account or not aside, this movie has greatness above any of the criticisms that I have read here on Amazon.com. What makes this movie great is that from beginning to end it is a marvelous Catholic friendly movie, so unlike Hollywood to make. The ending scene and epilog tells it all very powerfully. What a tribute to the Church! The pro-Catholic view of the movie is not at the expense of Protestantism, so I don't think Protestants would be offended in any way. I think that all Christians can love this movie for what it is a movie of a historical event that is uplifting as can be. Another triumph of love and goodness. Our parish priest a number of years ago, thought so highly of this movie that he bought it for everyone in the parish. Do your family a favor and buy this tape or DVD. I run the Wayside Shrine Catholic retreat house. Everyone of our guests has thought very highly of this film.

Just buy it already

Simply fantastic. The menus are very cool - some menus are fan shot bootleg footage containing full songs! You can see the band maturing as the DVD progresses and the Knebworth stuff was much better than I'd thought.
Plus - Bonzo singing backup vocals! JPJ on Mellotron! (Sadly, no sign of the triple necked acoustic so far though.) Also, witness Page's playing get sloppier as his guitar gets lower over the years! :) The Swedish TV bonus footage is amazing too by the way. The french footage is pretty bizarre - check out the audience.
Just buy this. If not for yourself for your kids.

Clay and Ice.

Being a penguin fanatic, my sister bought this DVD for me for Christmas. I wasn't for sure what to think of it originally, but came to really enjoy the DVD after watching it.
Pingu is a young penguin and he and everything in his world are created through claymation (the type of animation responsible for WALLACE AND GROMIT, GUMBY, CHICKEN RUN). The stories on the DVD involve Pingu and his friends and family as they go about the daily tasks of their lives. Unlike most claymation shows, there is no literal dialogue: the creatures all speak a type of mumbling that is called Pengeese. There are six episodes on the DVD.
"Pingu Goes Fishing"--in this episode Pingu has his first encounter with a young seal named Robbie who becomes his best friend.
"Pingu Helps to Deliver the Mail"--in this episode Pingu helps his father deliver the mail in their small village.
"Pingu Plays Fish Tennis"--in this episode Pingu and Robbie are bored and end up playing a game of fish tennis.
"Pingu Gets a Bike"--in this episode Pingu's father runs over Pinga's (Pingu's little sister) bike. She cries and cries and cries until Pingu gives her his bike. Good lesson in sharing.
"Pingu at the Nursery"--Pingu takes Pinga to school at the nursery.
"Pingu and the Organ Grinder"--the poor Organ Grinder who lives on the outskirts of town is having a difficult time making a living. No one pays attention to him or his music. Pingu loves his music and decides to help the Organ Grinder.
Overall, I found this DVD to be highly entertaing. The whole DVD is a little over 30 minutes and can be easily watched in one setting. My favorite episode was "Pingu and the Organ Grinder"; I found it to be touching and reminded me of how much I love my grandparents. This is a great DVD to watch with younger children and makes an excellent gift for any penguin or claymation fans.

Jimi The God

Jimi is great, and this is the best performance I have ever seen. I was at woodstock, he was great, but the video captures him at his best. Any rock fan, young or old, will enjoy this video. Jimi shows in this video how his magic fingers do the walking. God of the guitar, this one is a must see.

I was looking for a tape on pilaties and when my favorite fitness guru put this new tape out i snached it up on the spot!! This video really works your abs out so much and it is alot more fun than crunches. Sometimes when i do it my heart rate gets up and i am sweating!! Suprising when you think that your are just lying on a mat but i swear you do sweat!!I recomend this tape to a friend and she absoulty loved it. A great tape for beginners who are new to pilaties. Wow

What more could you want in a horror film? This one has it all, zombies, interesting characters, plot twists, awesome sets (the morgue/hospital and the basement especially), great action scenes, and lots of gore including brain removal, eyeball burst-yuck, gut spillage, bone saw through a corpse, decapitation, etc. This is such a classic, a must see! Right up there with Return of the Living Dead, the Beyond, and Dead Alive (which was inspired by this film). A really awesome ending too, this might just be the second best horror film ever after the Texas Chainsaw Massacre.
