My Favorite! My boyfriend is even doing it!

This is a strong workout. Don't be put off by the fact that it is a model doing the routine. My boyfriend watched some of what I was doing and decided he would try it too. It worked him good and he claims he will do it every week now. It's thorough, too the point and doesn't waste your time. You get a good hour of strength and cardio all around. This is not whimpy fluff that has you moving around, but not really concentrating on strengthing your muscle groups (if that's what you want, don't get this). And to top all that off, Cindy is a pleasant person to be around, with a soothing and real demeanor. Plus the setting, editing and music is qualilty.

Loved IT!!!

Regardless, of some of the negetive feedback by amazon customers. I thought this season was the best of all four!! Becasue in this season, EVERYONE was suffering through some type of drama. Emmett is suffering in a relationship with a closet gay, Pro-Football player. Then at a F-balll game, Emmet finds out that his boyfriend is engaged to his friend/client. When is the last time something like that has been aired, with the sex and all?

Brian getting cancer, and recovering was the best that happened to him. It finally showed he was human, and not an indestructable hearthrob.Melanie had to deal with Lindsy falling "straight" to one of her clients.Debbie has issues that she doesn't get to resolve, with her gay brother who dropped dead. Micheal and Ben are working at being the best fahters they can be. Ted's life is getting on track, from his drug fall. A well as his porno website days etc.

The producers are really giving these characters all the drama and trials that they can give, surrounding the Gay community. Its' an awsome season.

Un-fairytale

Mike Meyers is great as sort of a Scottish ogre, and Eddie Murphy is fantastic as an annoying donkey. Yeah, I mean he is _really_ good. Very annoying. A lot of the humor was a bit off color too. Now I enjoy toilet humor as much as the next guy, but I don't know if being in the same league as Beavis and Butthead is really where they should be aiming.
Shrek likes to make fun of Disney movies, but it would have been nice if they could have had the quality of one. For example, Eddie Murphy played an annoying dragon in Mulan, but the movie as a whole had a better story and was more enjoyable.I guess the story was passable, but it didn't smack of quality like most Disney movies do.
As for the animation, I thought some of the scenery was good, but overall the character animation was poor. Any scene with a crowd reminded me of Scooby Doo. Really, I think a modern video card (say a geforce 3) could probably do a similar rendering job in real time. Compare the animation on Shrek to Toy Story 2 or A Bug's Life -- much lower quality, less attention to detail. Those were older movies, but still their animation held up and their stories were far superior in my opinion. There really is no comparison between Shrek and Monsters, Inc.
Overall I was pretty disappointed.

WWE Backlash 2004....GREAT

April 18, 2004Rexall Place, Edmonton Alberta, CanadaFirst and formost why give Benoit and Eddie the top two belts. If either men were worthy they would have gotten the titles when they were younger and in there prime. Not because the Great Muppet Master Vince felt sorry for them being so old and never being anything. Matches Shelton Benjammin def. Ric FlairGood choice for an opener. Back and forth action with Benjammin hitting the top rope clothesline for the win. Benjammin's mega push continues by beating a 60 year old has been. He should be proud. Match Rating - ** The Coach def. TajiriBad bad match. Coach is not an entertainer. Not in the ring, not on the mic, not at the annoucers table, not at all. The only time Coach makes me laugh is when the Rock is calling him a "Popcorn Fart" or putting him down in other ways. Garrison Cade got involved and Coach won. And who was he facing again...Match Rating - * Chris Jericho def. Christian and Trish StratusThank you Ayatolla of Rock N Rolla for breathing some life in to this PPV. Match was very solid, with Jericho pinning Christian with the running enziguri.Match Rating - ***** Womens Championship - Victoria def. LitaPoor Lita her ring rust really showed during this one. Victoria's awsome though, and she retains her title here with a cradle.Match Rating - ** Intercontinental ChampionshipNo Holds Barred - Randy Orton def. Cactus JackWOW! Orton should thank his lucky stars that it was him because Foley put him over clean, cata-pulting him right to the top of the WWE. The match itself was just an awsome brawl. When Orton pulled out those thunbtacks I did not think it would be him taking the bump on them. Orton tries to escape, but Foley throws him off the stage through a couple of tables. Orton finishes the match. Two RKO's get the biggest win of Orton's young career. Definite show-stealer. F'in WOW!
Match Rating - ***** Hurricane & Rosey def. La ResistanceGood match if you needed to hit the can or get a beer. Not much of a match, and you know it's just been thrown in to kill some time when Eugene (is this RAW's Zach Gowen, did RAW really need a side show freak?) jumps in the ring and just runs around like an idiot for a couple of minutes.Match Rating - Edge def. KaneA six minute match for a 14-month return for Edge. Kane should have one and would have if it was not for it being Edge's "big return," and needing a push. I don't know about ya'll but I'm fed up with Kane and Big Show being jobers while Benoit and Eddie run around with titles. The crowd was dead for this match until Edge hit the spear at the end. The match itself was not good.Match Rating - * World Title - Triple ThreatChris Benoit def. Triple H & Shawn MichaelsThe final encounter? Yep, it's probably the last time they'll have a triple threat with these three. This match was very good, not as good as their WrestleMania match though, since it think there was a bit more riding on it for Benoit at Mania. The match went 30 minutes and just seemed a bit flat in some patches. Benoit blocks the Sweet Chin Music and locks in the SharpShooter, getting the submission victory. Benoit celebrates with his hometown with his belt at the end.Match Rating - ***

A really outstanding disc

Contrary to misplaced popular opinion this film has nothing to do with Dawn of the Dead (it was the sequel in Italy, but so what). All you need to know is this: a zombie wrestles a real, live shark. A shark!

Everlasting Memories

With top-notch production values, a wonderfully engaging score, performances that fit the bill to perfection, and many, many extras, such as Onna White's fabulously inventive choreography, this gigantic screen musical is a classic for the ages. Perhaps the best and most enthusiastically rendered vision of Charles Dickens' specific vision of working class London, this movie literally teems with life, and paints a vivid, emotional portrait of a scraggly band of petty thieves and crooks; magically, the musical numbers not only provide a nice counter-balance to the mounting brutality of the main story, but expand on it as well. Shani Wallis and Oliver Reed are pitch-perfect, and surprisingly intense, as the corrupt and doomed low-life couple who use Oliver as a means to their own selfish ends. Mark Lester is a wondrous child actor, without a hint of self-awareness, and a sweetly tiny soprano voice that can bring tears to your eyes. Carol Reed's enormous skill as a director has never been better showcased than in his seemingly effortless coordination of scenes both small and impossibly huge, as in the Who Will Buy? musical number, a wondrous combo of precise choreography, soaring melody and layer upon layer of visual joy. This movie is an exceptional first taste of musical theatre/movies for children, though be warned: the movie does not shy from the more violent passages in Dickens' tale, and the spooky underbelly of life as a petty criminal is scary when you hear Bill Sykes whistle for his pit bull in the back alleys.

A Classic!

This film is arguably the most revolting ever made in cinematic history. It's cheap, amateurish, reactionary, depraved, excessively violent with no acting and the mere remnants of a script. The product of a sick, warped, and twisted mind.
In short, unmissable entertainment!

Excellent

Doesn't matter that the music had to go instrumental, it's still our beloved Tour of Duty with all our favorite characters and shows. Just waiting for the remaining series to be released. With everything else that is being released in multiple series, it would be a shame to exclude this all time favorite.

Still scares me to death, My wife won't watch it.

In terms of a MOVIE this is clearly one of the best ever made. Only the Godfather I & II compares to it, in terms of performances, (not a single bad one) Special effects and plot it is incredible.
This movie doesn't rush itself. It slowly builds up until you just can't take it anymore. This is high art. All the people involved in this movie should be rightly proud. It will outlast anything else in the Genre. I know Linda Blair's career has paid a price for this but very few great actors have ever made a movie as great as this one. I would rank it in the top 10 of all time easy, maybe even top 5. That being said I watched this version only once. I will not buy this film, or rent it again yet if it is on TV I watch it, in fact I am irresistably drawn to it; Why, becasue it scares me!
You would think that at 39 years old and a life full of real things to deal with a movie 30 years old wouldn't do that: You'dd think wrong.
This movie not only scares me it is the ONLY movie that still does. I'm sure a lot of it has to do with the fact that I'm a Roman Catholic and I believe this is not out of the realm of reality, but what really seems to get me is in this movie THE DEVIL WINS!
What most people don't understand is that the devil even possessing the girl can't steal her soul in the act. The attack is more directed toward the family and the Excorcist himself. Will he have the faith to keep up, to do the rite again and again and again. With they have what it takes to outlast the demon. Fr Karas does not. He willingly accepts the devil into himself and thus gives Satan the actual win he is looking for. In that actual case the movie is loosely based on the Excorcism lasted for months until the demon was finally driven out. The victory of evil in this movie is very visable to me. How it is not noted by others more often is beyond me.
(I have this fantasy of the final scene where Father Merrin is on the floor and all is about to be lost when the door opens and George Burns in his fishing hat walks in [Reference Oh God series] slowly to the Amazement of Fr. Karos and the Horror of the demon. That happy ending allowed me to sleep many times in my younger days.)
Buy it if you dare.

COMPELLING

THIS FILM WAS BRILLIANT. I SAW THIS AS AN 13-YEAR OLD GIRL, AND EVEN AT THAT AGE, I GOT THIS FILM BECAUSE FOSSE IS SO EFFECTIVE IN HIS STORYTELLING IN EVERY POSSIBLE WAY. JOE'S ADDICTION TO THE DANCE, TO WOMEN, TO EXCESS, TO PLEASURE, TO SELF-DESTRUCTION, TO CREATION IS SO STARKLY AND UNCOMPROMISINGLY PORTRAYED. I FAIL TO UNDERSTAND HOW A PREVIOUS REVIEW COULD SAY THE DANCE SEQUENCES WERE TOO LONG. BOB FOSSE REMAINS ONE OF THE MOST INFLUENTIAL AND BREATH-TAKING CHOREAGRAPHERS OF THE LAST HALF CENTURY. HIS STYLE IS SOPHISTICATED, SMART AND WITTY. THE EDITING, THE HOSPITAL SEQUENCES, THE GLIMPSES INTO HIS CONTINUED DESTRUCTION AND FAILING HEALTH ARE NOTHING SHORT OF GRIPPING. AND THE MUSICAL AND SHOW-BIZ SEQUENCES SHOW BOTH THE SLEAZY AND THE JOYFUL FACETS OF THIS WORLD.
I COULD GO ON ALL NIGHT....I JUST CAUGHT THIS ON BRAVO AND, 20 YEARS LATER, IT IS JUST AS COMPELLING AND EXCITING AS THE FIRST TIME I SAW IT. ENJOY.
