Motivational Knockout!!

This DVD combines all the moves you learn at your gym class with the convienience of trying it in your own home. Taking you slowly through the individual techniques of kicks and boxing you soon feel you understand the moves.
By the time you finish your first workout, you will feel very satisfied and should be very proud, it is hard but very challanging. Well done, I cant wait to use it again

Excellent movie! Great fun!

I am one of the lucky individuals who actually owns a copy of this masterpiece. I recommend it to anyone who loves fantasy, adventure and Henson. The music is wonderful, the lines are funny, Henson's creatures are loveable and the plot is one to cherish for all times. I am interested in getting Henson to re-release this incredible movie. Anyone interested in helping, please contact me. Also, if anyone knows if this movie is based on a book, please tell me!!

Best film ever, possibly!

Yes. This is good. The fight scenes are amzing, and it is SO funny! The only visible flaws are Benny's stupid mascara and Sammo's bowl haircut, but even thry are funny in their own way. If you like martial arts films, you should have already ssen this.

Very good movie.

I thought that Resident evil could have been a bit better for example they could have introduced the characters a bit more.I thought that the girl in the red dress was Gill from the origional. Also the mansion did not come in to the film enough seeing as the origional was based on a mansion over ran with flesh eating zombies and other mutated creatures.I would not mind seeing it again but i now have to wait until christmas or just after for it to come out on VHS

Very Excellent!

A little expensive but very cool. Carl Sagan was the first man to break the sound barrier and this is his story. Carl also was a swimming contender in the 1968 Mexico Olympics but he felt the sting of defeat and didn't win diddley. We don't like losers, Carl. A famous scientist, Carl died of cancer some years ago because he didn't eat his broccoli. If only he's gone to Denny's every Thursday for their cream of broccoli soup, he would still be alive today.

The Incredibles (Widescreen 2-Disc Collector's Edition) - movie DVD cover picture

This movie was great, especially the animation. In an early interview, the producers at Pixar talked about how they avoided making humans as much as possible because of all the painstaking details. As their first movie that is actually about people rather than animals, monsters, etc, I think they pulled off the human animation perfectly. Try comparing Mr. Incredible to the baby in the short film, Tin Toy, and you'll see the vast improvement.
Besides the animation, the movie was great all-around. One minute, you'll be crying because you're laughing so hard and the next, you'll be at the edge of your seat in suspense.
In other viewer reviews, they complain about the PG rating. Some think it should be PG-13 instead. This doesn't make a lot of sense to me. First of all, this is an action movie. It's a give-in that in an action movie, there will be, what else...Action! Action calls for some scary situations. If you're worried about the rating, watch it yourself before letting your kids watch it. I'm sure there's nothing in the movie that your child hasn't seen first-hand or heard about before.

The most underrated film in 80's

I can never forget when I saw this movie in Tokyo with 70mm print. It was beautiful, magnificent and very personal film about sea. It was unsucssesfull in box office, thou, the audience didn't forget the beauty of this film. When the movie was re-released as "Le Grand Blue" in director's cut with French Language (Original language is English, by the way)in 1992, it became the instant classic in Japan. Now thanks to the Columbia Trister, the American audience can experience this unseen classic. The quality of the picture and sound are much better than any other version, including expencive Japanese Laser Disc. It does remind my first experience of seeing this one of the best movie in 80's. If you love movie of Luc Besson, this is must-buy DVD.

Wonderful and Refreshing

Ive been a fan of the series since I was 13, Ive listened, read and watched the versions of the series and approuched the movie with trepedation. I was completly blown away, I thought it was a marvelous tribute to Adam's work and was glad to see that he was behind most of the writing before his death.
The use of Jim Hensons company for the Vogons was an especially marvelous treat after being hammered with so many CG aliens these days. Ive missed the days of Muppets and actors in masks.
It is definitly not a movie for the general public but then Hitchhikers never really was. I think there has to be an appreciation for the series and British humor for it to be really appreciated.
Im so glad that they took their time and did such a spectacular job and after seeing it in the theatre 4 times I cant wait to get it on DVD
