Keeps getting better...

Many people don't like Season 2 because it changed Doctor characters and it had its fill of "bottle shows", however there's still some really good episodes in Season 2.
For example, "Where Silence Has Lease" is a good one where the Enterprise gets hurled into a void when they're confronted by an alien in the void that puts the crew through a deadly experiment.
Another good episode is "Elementary Dear Data" where Data is involved in a Sherlock Holmes holodeck adventure and we see the debut of the Moriarty villian.
"Loud as a Whisper" isn't bad either when a deaf mediator tries to bring peace to a war-torn planet, but his interpreters are all killed in a ambush. Cool on-planet episode with aliens.
"A Matter of Honor" is probably one of the best episodes of Season 2 when Riker takes part in kind of an exchange program on a Klingon BoP and then is forced to attack the Enterprise to prove his honor.
"The Message of a Man" is an interesting courtroom drama where they have to prove that Data is a valuable asset to the crew instead of just a machine.
"Contagion" isn't all that bad either when a probe makes the Enterprise defenseless against a Romulan Warbird.
"Time Squared" is a memorable episode where Piccard's duplicate from the near future is in the present warning the Enterprise of its impending destruction against a blackhole-like anonomoly.
"The Icarus Factor" is a good one where Worf is challenged by the Klingon council and Riker's father shows up with some age ol' grudges.
"Q Who?" is another one of the classic episodes in which Q sends the Enterprise into the far reaches of space to make first contact with the Borg.
"The Emissary" was one of my old favorites when Worf meets his sole mate, a fiesty Klingon female who has an attitude. I'm alway impartial to the Klingon-heavy episodes.
"Peak Performance" is also one of the great episodes where Riker takes over an Constellation-class ship to battle the Enterprise in a wargame when the game is rudely interrupted by a Ferengi Marauder.
So in reality half of the episodes are pretty good. The other half are either filler or bottle shows that either may or may not be good. Some have to do with mysterious illnesses, holodeck problems, or Lwaxana Troi garbage. The pluses are that we finally get Guinnan and Ten-Forward in the series. Something sorely missing from the first season.

She mates and she kills...

Fiesty Federal Investigator is hot on the trail of a husband-killer, but to catch her she has to think like the killer thinks and play her game...I would love to see a rematch of these two dynamite femme stars, Debra Winger and Theresa Russell. The movie world needs them. Russell, as an actress, generally lacks Winger's inner-fire, but some of her close-ups are more revealing than her dialogue anyway(watch for the scene on the beach after the scuba diving accident). In 1987, this was considered a modest hit which got generally good reviews(Roger Ebert panned it, however). So it's fair to say the movie is highly underrated and should be seen by anyone who loves a good mystery or a great acting match between two top-flight stars. Supporting performances are also very good, and the direction is tricky & tight right up until the final scene(which seems a little rushed). Great cinematography, suspenseful music by Michael Small, incredible Winger & Russell!

Cult Miracle

I personally did NOT like House of a Thousand Corpses at all. However, hearing what was going into TDR, I had to see it opening night. After the first showing at 7:35 I stayed and watched it again....thats two times in a row. This movie pushes boundaries, morals, and the horror / shock genre to another level. I have been waiting for a movie like this. This takes film to a new level, a level of PURE escapism...which is what movies are for. Movies are meant to take US somewhere we will never go to, or ever be in..but that we can experience at some level. The horror genre is meant to be like TDR. Something that scares you, shocks you, and brings you to a level of pure adrenaline and fright.....The Devils Rejects acomplishes this with an iron fist holding a dagger to your throat. The horror genre is back and in full gear with The Devils Rejects!

In response to writer of "Missing An Episode"

Gilmore Girls is a witty, fast-paced, thoughful television show richly sprinkled with pop culture jokes and tidbits, set in the small town of Stars Hollow. Funnier than most shows out there now and able to tackle many serious and important issues facing people of all ages, this show is quality and is perfect for family viewing. Unlike numerous popular shows that rely on "dumb jokes", Gilmore Girls contains only intelligent jokes and witty remarks that don't degrade or devalue the intellect of its viewers. You should give this show a chance and you will be delighted!!!!

Smooth & Relaxing Jazz!

This is a great DVD for obvious reasons. You get a talented group like Fourplay to perform many of their hits in front of a small crowd, and the sound is outstanding. The visuals are perfect, and you get to see each member up close! The guest stars are a nice bonus too! Philip Bailey (of Earth Wind & Fire), Phil Perry (needs to learn some restraint! ), and the 'fabulous' Chaka Khan, who shows why she is popular among Jazz musicians. If you love contemporary jazz, invest in this DVD!

A unique and brilliant MASTERPIECE from Disney

What do you get when a very talented orchestra combines with a brilliant idea for a film? You get a Disney masterpiece of course. "Fantasia" isn't at all like the typical film from Walt Disney. A live orchestra plays several familiar music tunes throughout the two hours of running time, while at the same time, you get to watch animated cartoons that enact with the music. The orchestra has a lot of great instruments ready to play such as percussions, drums, harps, horns, and many more.
Some of the cartoons and music are just there to make up pictures like you might picture in your mind while simply listening to the music, and others tell a story while music plays in the background. For example, you'll see Mickey Mouse star in an unforgettable cartoon where Mickey serves as The Sorcerer's Apprentice, which is my favorite part of "Fantasia." Another good example is when the conductor tells you to imagine what it would be like if you were in outer space looking at a desolate planet called earth. Right after he tells you that, the orchestra starts playing and then the cartoon starts out in outer space, dinosaurs eventually appear, and then from there, I'll let you find out the rest that "Fantasia" has in store.
I'll admit, I'm not the biggest fan of orchestras or music without the aid of singing, but I did like most of the music in "Fantasia" and the cartoons were interesting to watch. And in my opinion, the idea of combining great orchestra music with live-action cartoons was brilliant, especially for the time that this film was made. Even if you're not a huge fan of instrumental music or even cartoons, I recommend giving "Fantasia" a try....you just might be impressed. I know I was!

Extraordinarily Excellent!!!

This movie superised (...) me. I think it's fantastic, but I'm not gonna go into a comprhensive review here...just watch it and judge for yourself.
However, I just gotta say it...Peta Wilson is GORGEOUS!!! I thought she was sexy as Nikita, but those subtle fangs make her even more so (even though you don't see them very much).

How will you spend eternity?

What is the best way to show the world what will happen after God comes back for His people? To show it in a way that gives description and biblical backing, and doesn't threaten the person watching. That is exactly what "Left Behind-The Movie" has accomplished. This movie shows what people will go through when they are faced with the knowledge that God has come for His people and that they have been left behind. It shows that they will need to make a decision based on the information and circumstances in front of them. This is a movie that all people need to see, then sit down and study the subject for themselves. While the movie goes in some different directions than the book, the main message and storyline is still there. After watching this movie, find someone and ask questions about the subject matter, then watch the movie again. See if your questions are answered. If not, keep asking questions until they are answered. Enjoy "Left Behind-The Movie"!

A time to think...

We are all guilty of not thinking of others and just ourselves. In this day and age, just 60 years from the day this movie took place. Very different from the way we are today. This movie is not just about the details behind or how graphic the attack is, it's about a time when not just a few people but a whole country went to war. How as a nation we all did something to save our way of life. Not just our arm services, the whole country did something. Many people lost their lives, a day to remember, Ask yourselves this, what have I done today that was for someone else, not yourselves or your family, but someone else? Anything? Epic move of all times, better than Titanic....
