An Action Packed Movie!

This was a very good action movie. I hated that Steven Seagal got killed but the movie was still action packed. Kurt Russell came off very well as the hero. A jet is hijacked by a crew of Arab terrorists. A chemical bomb is put into placed that will cause a great ammount of damage. Kurt Russell and an anti- terrorist team are slipped onto the plane in midair. This is where we lost Steven Seagal. From here the race is on to get the plane away from the hijackers. The terrorists are truly evil and sinister. The plot of this movie is good as well. This is a very good movie that you should not miss.

A rare pleasure

A rare and special movie. There is an ineffable, poetic quality about this movie that touches deeply. Few movies capture so well the bittersweet passing of youth to maturity, constrained love, the wonder of the moment.
This is a masterful work by Redford. The understated performance from Tom Skerritt as the preacher father is right on. Brad Pitt and Craig Sheffer play of each other well. Watch and enjoy.

The Distinct Collectible Edition

Bastard!! is an ironic choice of titles for an anime film (this coming from a guy who thinks "Cowboy Bebop" sounds quite normal). This being said, this DVD gives the essential version of Bastard!! that is required for the highest level of pleasure in viewing.
Bastard!! is the classic story of an anti-hero evil wizard who changes over time to defend a kingdom he once tried to destroy.
If you are new to fantasy or anime, I hightly recommend this DVD to wet your feet.

outstanding performance of both stars!

I think this just may be my favorite movie of all time. With the wonderful electric connection of these two top stars, they pull off the most simple, yet complex set of characters -- come to life -- and leave me wanting more! I adore Clint Eastwood and have enjoyed his talent for years, but this movie is number one in my book. Real. Romantic. Very well written and excellent performances. This story will leave you thinking of "what would I have done" at the moment when Francesca sees Robert pull in her driveway to when she places her hand on the knob of the truck door. Nothing has every been so moving emotionally as seeing Robert standing in the rain with that look of understanding and acceptance of her decision to stay on the farm. My last thought -- If Clint Eastwood was standing in the rain looking at me that way, I would have opened that door and ran into his arms! Clint, are you reading this???

Sloppy with your drink-Get this boy a bib- He needs his mama

Great movie even better on DVD. Transfer looks good and is still as thrilling as ever. Do yourself a favor and seek out the MGM DVD release. It comes in a plactic keepcase, has 8 pages of very interesting liner notes/behind the scenes facts, and the original trailer. Westworld, "where nothing can go wrong...go wrong...go wrong..."

This is the greatest movie I have ever seen. It is funny and adorable at the same time. My friends and I have seen it 5 times in the past week and a half; we can't get enough of it. I can't wait for it to come out on DVD! The best part is Mark's signs! OMG that is so cute. And I love the Billy Mack song. I love everything in the movie! Everyone should go see it- numerous times.

The Phantom of the Opera (movie) was EXCELLENT

I have seen both the play (on Broadway) and recently the movie of The Phantom of the Opera. Yes, the movie is a bit different, but not in a bad way at all. I LOVED LOVED LOVED the movie. The cast, especially the 3 leads - Christine, the Phantom, and Raoul - were superb. I could not believe that Emmy Rossum who played Christine was so young (18 or perhaps younger, I'm not sure when they started filming). All three sang beautifully, especially Christine. And the sets! They were excellent as well. I reccomend this movie for ANYONE; I dragged along my younger brothers (14 and 8) to go see it with me, and they both agreed with me how great a movie it was. I ended up seeing the movie twice so far - and had to go out and buy the soundtrack as well. I have the songs stuck in my head day in and day out (which is a good thing). You should all DEFINATELY go see Phantom of the Opera, and then go buy it when it comes out on video. It is one of THE BEST movies I have ever seen. :-D
