James Bond - License to Kill

This Bond movie is my all-time favorite! Not that I've seen them all! I love Pierce Brosnan, too, but Timothy Dalton is MY FAVORITE BOND man! I wish he had done more Bond films!

The opening of this film with Bond (Best Man) and his friend (Groom) floating down by parachute to a wedding, followed by Gladys Knight singing the title song IS my favorite part of this movie.

I enjoyed watching Timothy's Bond because he didn't seem to be as womanizing as the others were/are, making him a LOT more irressitible!

The Bond plots are always exciting, but my overall opinion is this movie was more about the 'inner' Bond as a person and not the agent, and I liked getting to know him better.

THis movie was awsome. Russell Crowe and Joaquin Pheonix are both terrific actors that bring this movie into a great climax. The action was amazing! All of it is historically accurate and it is one of the best made films ever!

Perfect combo!

With action, comedy, romance, and, above all, pirates, this is the perfect summer movie! The cast is superb. Johnny Depp is hilarious as the over-the-top rouge pirate, Jack Sparrow. Orlando Bloom, probably cast for the ladies ;-), is very handsome and makes a great blacksmith-turned-pirate, Will Turner. Newcomer Keira Knightney is a beautiful and talented girl (only 17 years old at the time of shooting) who will go far in her career. Her protrayal of governor's daughter Elizabeth Swann was wonderfully fiesty underneath her upright exterior. Geoffrey Rush was delightfully frightening as evil pirate Captain Barbossa. This movie had wonderful visual effects, the best being during a swordfight in a moonlit cave. Although not suitable for the youngest viewers, Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl is a fun way to spend a couple hours.

Dwarves, train geeks, and other outsiders.

This was a sweet movie. I enjoyed the characters and the humor the first time around, but it was the third viewing that cemented me, when I finally noticed that certain scenes looked a lot like Edward Hopper paintings. A quiet movie, funny and interesting.

great movie

I could really relate to the Meg Ryan and Tom Hanks characters in this movie because I experienced the same thing a few years ago(a date with someone from the Internet) and I was very glad that I went. I am pretty sure that both Joe Fox (Tom Hanks) and Kathleen (Meg Ryans) experienced the same nervousness that I had. This movie is the perfect example of an actual Internet romance that did not go wrong. It puts Internet dating into a different perspective.
I almost cried when he "did not show up" for their date and her store closed down.

European ambiance

I absolutley enjoyed this movie from beginning to end.Ashley who is pining over Brian(plays Travis in their new series)while Chloe is head over heels for this prince charming James(Jesse Spencer,Aussie).I like the moments between Riley(MK) and James the most, because they have a few heart to hearts, and it is really sweet. I also like when they are in the club dancing to this crazy sounding music, and James is dancing so goofy(too cute). I appreciated that the movie tried to teach that winning isn't everything(Ex:Riley and James playing polo). I love the history that is shown in this movie, also. Westminster abbey is filmed with Mary Queen of Scots' tomb, and some others. I didn't feel like this movie was made by an american director, but by a european director that brought England to the viewer. It was sort of mod, but at the same time had a very fashionable, Euro ambiance.

A Wonderful Christmas story!!!

This little movie is one of my favorites even in other times of the year. I enjoy watching the haunting parts of Jacob Marley floating around Scrooge's room and the part where he says "it is for pity sake that I came here, Scrooge", I love that one!! and the hand when he waves goodbye saying "remember what has passed between us" ...its wonderful, I cant leave it alone. Tiny Tim always makes me cry and I love the ghost of the future too. They could of left out the trip to hell, I thought it was kind of unneccessary for such a classic tale but the whole movie is just beautiful from start to finish for young and old. If you dont have this one, get it and Merry Christmas in February, mine played out in December so now Im looking for a new one!!!

One of my all time favourites.

One of my all-time favourite shows... I was very dissapointed when they cancelled it. I'll be the first in line to buy it on DVD when it comes out so that I can introduce the show to all my friends who might have missed it.
