I have very few words for this show....

I have few words for this show because I'm sure it's been said in all the previous reviews. I never watched it when it was on and I am sssssoooooooo sorry for that now.

This show kicks aaa - butt! I rented the series and now I want to own the edition with the 2 extra discs.

This show just isn't for freaks and geeks - if you are a breathing human being and attended some type of schooling, you will get this show no matter how young or old you are.

A few words on the main cast:

The freaks are awesome.
Lindsey, seeing her change the way she looked at life was great.
Kim, wanting to be good and bad at the same time.
Ken, who was just starting to show his sensitive side.
Daniel, who kept getting beat down at every turn, even when he was really trying to be better.
Nick, the stalker in training, who I thought was so sweet.

The freaks are awesome, but the geeks, the geeks stole my heart.
Neal, in his own eyes, a full grown male stud just waiting for the right lady to see it.
Bill, what a cutie pie. Lives in his own world, but peeks out to see if anyone has noticed him yet.
Sam, what an adorable sweetheart. Even though he is the 'king of the dip *****' (sixteen candles - my fav), you can just see that it is in him to break out of that mold. I was just really rooting for him to get the girl. This character had so much growing to do, with the superb writing, I know I could have easily watched this show into the college years.

Ok, so maybe I said more then I intended, I just love this show. Buy it, rent it, borrow it, just watch it.

**Disclaimer - I have not watched the very last episode - savoring every last minute**

Wonderful movie. Deeply touch my heart. The title of my review is the thought that ran through my mind when as I watched the movie. It is at its heart a Christian movie at a time in history when Christians across the globe are being persecuted, jailed, and killed for the simple act of professing their belief in Christ.I highly recommend this movie to everyone willing to open their heart, feel the truth, and/or willing to be touched by God and Christ.I acknowledge that after watching this movie I did open my heart to Christ and allow him into my life and heart. He also removed the hard stone from my heart. If you try to write to me at hotmail, the account is blocked. Try at yahoo instead, if you feel such a need, but I'm not inviting such traffic.Instead, I recommend seeing this movie and letting your heart open to its truth.Definitely worth buying! And sharing with your friends and loved ones. Just don't expect everyone to be as deeply touched. One must be ready first.

Fun and Do-Able and Highly Effective (specially for pregnant women!)

I was recently diagnosed with gestational diabetes (a form of diabetes some pregnant women acquire temporarily) and was told by my doctor that walking for 15-20 minutes after meals would greatly reduce my blood-sugar levels. Well, I found this out at the height of summer and going out to walk in 100+ degree weather was just impossible.

A friend of mine suggested this video, saying that very little space was required (you walk in place) and one of the demonstrators of Leslie showed the low-impact version of the exercises (perfect for me due to my pregnancy). After I cleared it with my doctor (if you're pregnant, you should too) I did the exercises and couldn't be more pleased with the results. Before this video and after meals, my blood sugar would be in the high 120s. When I started these simple but heart-rate rising exercises, my blood sugar levels plummeted to healthy high 80s or low 90s.

Leslie's videos are straightforward and so simple to do. All you need to know is how to walk - it's that simple. I've also noticed that I'm less winded in spite of my pregnancy and don't have many of the physical complaints of expectant moms in their 3rd trimester when it comes to energy, aches and pains. And in spite of pigging out, I've gained the ideal amount of weight during my pregnancy. Now while I don't attribute ALL that good news to the video, I'm sure it played a big part in it.

I do this video in a tiny room, barefoot, in the comfort and privacy of my home without having to leave the house and walk under the hot sun. If a 8-month pregnant woman can do this video, enjoy it and benefit from it, so can you.

Nothing short of brilliant!! A must-have.

I was a rabid Wodehouse fan before I saw any of the Jeeves and Wooster episodes, and feared disappointment. I needn't have worried. It's obvious that true love and affection for the great Plum went into these gems. If you like your British humor on the subtle side, with some absurdity bunged in without warning, you must own this set. Stephen Fry is perfect as Jeeves, and Hugh Laurie is lovable and believable as the hapless but well-intentioned Bertie, who spends his time attempting to avoid hellish aunts and horsy, corn-fed females determined to lead him to the altar. You'll love it!

Not for grocery store and eleveator music fans

I LOVE this movie. If you like comedy and R&B you can't miss this flick. If you went to a Catholic school as a kid (as I did), well then consider this homework, or humor therapy, your choice. The line up of significant musician treasures is unbelievable, B.B. King, Lou Rawls, Eric Clapton, Aretha good God the list goes on and on at that 1st class level. Check it out! Anyone who reviews this movie less than five stars has some sort of perception impairment. If you have the blues, this movie will cure what ails you. Not recommended for serious grocery store and eleveator music fans.

Verdelle -need I say more?:)

This movie was good. The acting was good and the story was good and the characters (especially Melvin played by Jack Nicholson) were really well thought out and were very human which made it a good story line. All of the three main actors were great in this movie. The only tiff that I might could hold with this movie is that I think the Helen Hunt character was too young for Jack Nicholson which made the love story a little less convincing but it's still a great movie anyway. Though it's a drama it's a genuinely funny movie at the same time and again I would recommend it to anybody. And besides who can resist a dog that cute and named Verdelle at the same time?

Garden State is definitely one of the better movies of the year 2004. The realistic little subtleties as well as the emotional, convincing performances by Zach Braff and Natalie Portman make this movie a winner. One of a kind.

Law & Order - The First Year - movie DVD cover picture
The first season of a great show!

Nominated for 52 Emmys since its 1990 premiere, including 11 for Outstanding Drama Series, Law & Order is one of the most popular television shows in modern day history. With an additional 4 Golden Globe nominations for Best TV Series (Drama), Law & Order is more than a TV show, it's a lucrative franchise for host network NBC, spawning popular spin-offs Law & Order: Special Victims Unit (1999), Law & Order: Criminal Intent (2001), and (the now cancelled) Law & Order: Trial By Jury (2005). Filmed on location in New York City, the show is the brainchild of creator Dick Wolf, a longtime writer for successful TV series such as Hill Street Blues and Miami Vice. With sixteen successful seasons already on the books, and more on the way, Law & Order remains one of the best drama series available on any network...

Law & Order centers around the New York City criminal justice system, where "the people are represented by two separate yet equally important groups - the police who investigate crime, and the district attorneys who prosecute the offenders". The first half of each one-hour episode is dedicated to the initial revelation of a crime and the police investigation that subsequently takes place. This usually involves interviewing witnesses, following leads, testing evidence, and/or hammering out a confession. Once sufficient evidence has been gathered to charge a suspect, the remainder of the show revolves around the district attorney's office and their attempts to prosecute the offenders. Oftentimes, the audience will be witness to unexpected plot twists, unorthodox media-driven cases, or last minute, Perry Mason-like confessions or brokered deals. Given its long TV run, the cast of Law & Order has frequently changed over the years - with only a handful of characters experiencing lengthy runs, characters such as Det. Lennie Briscoe (Jerry Orbach), Lt. Anita Van Buren (S. Epatha Merkerson), and EADA John "Jack" McCoy (Sam Waterston)...

The Law & Order (Season 1) DVD features a number of dramatic episodes including the series premiere "Prescription for Death" in which a young woman turns up dead following a late-night visit to the emergency room. When her father claims negligence on behalf of the hospital, his accusations lead to an in-depth investigation that prompts detectives to believe that the attending physician was drunk at the time of treatment... Other notable episodes from Season 1 include "Poison Ivy" in which the police shooting (and subsequent cover-up) of a black honors student amplifies the city's racial tensions, and "The Serpent's Tooth" in which two brothers become the prime suspects in the murder of their wealthy parents...

Below is a list of episodes included on the Law & Order (Season 1) DVD:

Episode 1 (Prescription for Death)
Episode 2 (Subterranean Homeboy Blues)
Episode 3 (The Reaper's Helper)
Episode 4 (Kiss the Girls and Make Them Die)
