Great!

Very well done. This DVD teaches you everything from setting up your set to basic grooves that the pro's use. He also has some of his students come in and play but it's not what you think. I thought it would be some little 10 year old playing and sounding better than me. It's not, they make mistakes too. He goes over grip and how to hit the drum very well and to top it off you can download play along songs that they use in the video on the web site.

A truly unforgettable horror film

"Basket Case," directed by Frank Henenlotter, is one of my favorite horror films of all time. It tells the story of Duane, an ordinary young man with a bizarre secret: he carries his deformed, undersized former conjoined twin around in a basket (hence the film's title).
"Basket Case" has an appealing low-budget feel to it, and Kevin Van Hentenryck is very likeable as Duane. Belial, the deformed twin, is an oddly sympathetic character. Yes, the film contains some scenes that many will find sick and depraved, but it also contains some truly haunting images. Disturbing, sometimes funny, and curiously moving, "Basket Case" is a truly unique piece of cinematic art.

Mashed potatoes and gravy, Marie

I first saw this movie when I was eleven and have loved it ever since; it never gets old, never ceases to make me laugh. This is probably my favorite movie of all time and since I'm sometimes a nervous person I like to joke, "I'm just like Bob!" Bill Murray's character is so endearing and hilarious that once you watch this movie, you'll never want him to leave. Not everyone has the same sense of humor, but you'll never know if you don't watch it, will you? I'd give it 10 stars.

A Gorgeous Film That Many Viewers Misunderstood....

While I still marvel at the bloody, violent, chop-socky approach Tarantino took in Vol.1, the sprawling, sun-blessed, easily paced and beautifully acted Vol.2 is the perfect followup. No, the body count isn't as high in this second half, no the squirting geysers of blood aren't present this time around and yes, the dialouge (A Tarantino hallmark)is a dominant factor this time around, and that's the whole point! The story and the emotional payoff are what matters most, and they are handled brilliantly. The flashbance sequence; THE CRUEL TUTELAGE OF PAI MEI, is some of the most virtuostic filmmaking ever committed to celluoid and is worth the price of admission alone. The final showdown in the hotel room between the Bride and another assassin is classic Quentin and reminded of the dark tension and mood of his earlier films. Vol.2 is a work of stunning maturity and a major leap forward for the most gifted director of this generation.

CHILLING! DISTURBING! AWESOME!

It's difficult to put a fresh spin on zombie flicks these days, but this is one film that is refreshingly shocking. Start the premise with young punks heisting jewels, and meeting with Yakuza hotshots at an abandoned military base to sell their wares. As the deal begins to go awry, this sounds like the beginnings of a hot "young punks vs murderous gangster" flick. Yeah, we've seen this plot over and over, but these thugs about to take part in a gangland war are unaware that the military base is not THOROUGHLY abandoned. Experiments in reanimation have been in the works, and these sleeping corpses would like to feast on do-gooders or evil-doers, whoever is nearest to their slothlike chompers.
The blood and guts are plentiful. Nothing overly impressive in the way of special effects, but the zombies' body movements and "chew factor" are unusually creepy. I've seen so many zombie flicks that try to scare you with graphic gore, but few that deliver genuinely scary sequences and intriguing characters.
If you love zombie flicks, this is a MUST! If you are a rookie Zombie Watcher, this flick might just get you wanting to feast on more "Living Dead" spectaculars!

Splash is a beautiful, romantic comedy.

Splash is a wonderful, romantic comedy about a man and a mermaid who fall in love for each other. This is one of Tom Hanks' earliest hits that made him a star. His co-star, Darryl Hannah, who plays Madison the mermaid, has never really had a hot film career away from this movie, sadly enough. The late John Candy and Eugene Levy provide some of the film's hilarious comedy as well. This film was directed by Ron Howard. A movie about a mermaid has to be good, and Splash does this so well. Tips off to the crew of this movie who made it so real. The underwater sequences are well done as well as Daryl Hannah herself as the mermaid. She is utterly believable as a mermaid! She is just so sexy in the rubber mermaid tail suit. She swims in it so well. This movie really brought a fairy tale type story to life. A must see for everyone. This film was followed by "Splash, Too", a Disney TV movie sequel in 1988 starring Todd Waring and Amy Yasbeck in the Hanks/Hannah roles. Unfortunately, this sequel is not on home video.

suspensefully scary

There is something very special about a film that can remove your faith, give you a genuine and realistic scare, create an enormous amount of thought provoking, make for a very uneasy hour and a half and then completely restore you faith. Shyamalan has given us his best work. This film is both unsettling and heart warming. Although there are few scenes that can be heavily criticised, the general pretense of the film and the excellent characterisation make this undoubtedly, not only one of the best films of this year (2002), but also one of the best of the last 20. I cannot find a bad word to say about this film.

I actually LOVED this one!

Blair Witch shouldn't have appeared on movie screens across the midwest, and allover America. This is what made everyone HATE this movie. The Blair Witch Project is strictly an art flick. Anyway, I LOVED this movie. Every scene just kept gaining more momentum and then POOF! It scared the hell out of me. The actors couldnt have done a better job. They really did a good job. So what if the scariest part was when they see a bunch of voodoo sticks? It had eerie parts that make you terrified. Some of the visions in this movie will stick into my mind forever. Anyway a great movie for Halloween, Friday the 13th, or just about anytime!
