Enjoy it if you are delightfully demented!

This is the worst movie I have ever seen in my entire life. I now compare all bad movies to this. If I don't like a movie I always say that was a bad movie, but it's no Home Fries.

the events of sep 11 2001 changed my life forever. i dont think i will ever see the world the same way again. i will still live my life to the fullest and enjoy my freedom, but i will always be more carefull as we all should be. this DVD shows the hero's who where there saving lives even though many of them put their own lives at risk to save others, many men and women did give their lives. theres a say'ing "no one is born a hero, they become one." those men and women are true Hero's. to the family's and friends of the victoms i give you my love and prayer's forever.

the graphics and sam neill's presentation works

being a fan of astronomy, the physical wonders of the cosmos are a wonderful thing. i've read and listened to books and many audio books from stephen hawking and brian green. this series is explained clearly and someone without the background of reading astronomy magazine for 10 years can understand. the graphics are quite impressive. if only my 8 inch meade scope could focus in one some of these objects (right!). i highly recommend this series to anyone whom i the least bit interested with astronomy. my early teenage kids were glued to the tv as well. great work!

Great series, Terrible network

I have to say that fox networks is run by a bunch of brain damaged monkeys. the milenium series sold out at the costco where i live. i dont think that the problem is with demand, im sure that the series sold just as much if not more than the X files. i think the problem is with the idiots at fox. im going to have to buy a region free DVD player and order this series from the UK hey amazon i hope your moderators are listening. PLEASE PUT PRESSURE ON FOX TO RELEASE THIS IN THE US i wouldnt be surprised if amazon and a few other major vendors told fox. if your dont release compleat series episodes than we wont sell any of your products. maybe if all of the disgruntled people put presure on amazon and all of the other vendors buy boycots and emails, than they would force fox to come to their senses. please other reviewers. post at other merchant sites hit fox where it counts, and force them to release this series in the US or not be able to sell in the US at all.

Halloween (Divimax 25th Anniversary Edition) - movie DVD cover picture

This DVD edition of Halloween is BRILLIANT. Anchor Bay have totally redeemed themselves by re-releasing the best horror movie of all time. Their first release was badly done. This special edition is so cool. The picture is THX and is so clear (you would think the movie was filmed in the last few years - the only thing that dates it is the clothing/hairstyles etc). The sound (if you are watching with a Dolby Digital receiver) is amazing. The extra features are excellent - a 30 minute documentary that has been very well done with interviews, footage of the locations as they are now and how they made the movie), over 100 behind the scenes photos. It is an excellent DVD and worth the money. Thanks Anchor Bay for re-releasing this classic horror movie!

"Menudo Video Explosion"

Truly one of the best singing group in music history. Robi rosa should be highly credited for being the front man in uplifting the group. All of them namely: Robi, Ricky , Charlie, Ray , and Roy perform a 100% and they also have their solo turns except Roy. Anyhow, it`s still a must to add it to your collection. I highly recommend this video so get a hold of it before it runs out of stock. It`s marvelous , Amazing , and very Entertaining.

"5 Stars! One great film. Tom & Denzel are outstanding".

I remember the first time I saw this movie, I was very young, but I remember liking it even then. But now I really love this movie. One of my favorite movies of all time, right up there with Forrest Gump. This Anniversary Edition is a must have. And thank God it's a 2-Disc Edition, it deserves it. That movie is going to be added to my collection the second it hits the shelves at my work (Blockbuster). The movie it's self is just a really good, emotionally strong, kick-butt flick. It's a really sad movie, but that's what makes the film great. The song "Streets of Philadelphia" by Bruce Springstien is one of my favorite songs of all time... but I have a really big list of favorite songs:) Overall, this movie gets a '10', 2 thumbs up, and 5 extremely big stars, because it was that good.

The Exorcist (25th Anniversary Special Edition) - movie DVD cover picture
Still Disturbing 30 years later

I have seen "The Exorcist" several tims, and picked up "the version you've never seen" when it hit the shelves last year. It's amazing how this landmark movie still holds it's power 30 years after it's initial release. I will not bother to try and do this film justice with an amateur review, and unless you have been hiding under a rock for the last 3 decades you most likely know what the story is about. But I would like to touch on two things, the added scenes in the latest version are great. As if you needed any more reason the feel sympathy for Regan, watching her go through the medical tests is just awful. Linda Blair just does such a great job in this movie, it's really a shame her career took such a nose-dive. The other aspect of the film that I really enjoyed with this new DVD package was the soundtrack. It was like watching a "new" movie with enhanced audio, and with surround sound "Tubular Bells" has never sounded better. This film may not be for everyone (my wife still refuses to watch it), but if you have the nerves to handle it...well the newest version is well worth the money.

Subtle, Cerebral Humor, A Classic Film From The 1990's!

This movie grabbed my attention the first time I rented it at my local videostore for it's low key atmosphere and entertaining storyline. The highly persistent (if not entirely insane) Dignan, played by Owen Wilson has got to be one of the most memorable character portrayals in any movie I've ever seen. The slow pace of the movie makes everything just right (you won't be blown away by special effects, unless you consider an altogether cerebral script pyrotechnic) but you will come away from this movie with a sense of adventure and a deep desire for one yourself. The fact that this movie is practically a remake of an earlier project adds even more to its appeal. The caper scenes are hilarious, the dialogue will make you think as well as laugh, and you will come away from this movie with a new appreciation for film making in general. It's not all about explosions after all. And you will find yourself scaring the hell out of your friends when for no reason at all you start screaming "Ka-Caw, Ka-Caw!". If you like this movie check out Rushmore, also directed by Wes Anderson.
