Did you say "Clueless"?

Instead of a "high school" setting the storyline mentality is in a "college" setting. Definitely a girl flick to watch with the gal pals. If you liked the movie "Clueless" with Alicia Silverstone, then you'll love Reese Witherspoon in "Legally Blonde". It's so like funner! (I've watched it at least 8 times.) It is just a cute and happy story to watch.

" Video for all Floyd Fans" - MUST SEE.

I have been a Pink Floyd fan for 7 years. This video shows the characteristic view and creative side of the four individuals <Gilmour-Rick-Nick-&-Roger> that made pinkfloyd the most successful band in history of rock music. Floyds working to achieve a new style of sound from where they left after Sys Barrett's was dismissed permanently. The Video has a glimpse of the making and the spacing of the tracks in their upcoming album "Dark side of the moon" . According to majority of the fans who have viewed this video, all five band members including Sys Barrett's have been equally received credits for the unbelievable success of Pink Floyd. Note - You have to been patient to watch and listen . If you are a fan ,then you don't need to consider the given note , since it involves some sort understanding.
Also must watch video's - "Pulse" AND " La Carrera Panamericans".

The Best Disney in Years

Let's face it: most of us think of hand-painted, high quality animation when we think of Disney. Not CGI (this is not a knock on Pixar. They do great work. I'm talking about the Mouse here).
The last few efforts; "The Emporer's New Groove", "Tarzan" and "Atlantis" were not Disney's best, despite the reciepts.I don't know why, nor do I claim to know enough to speculate. That's why "Lilo & Stich" was such a happy surprise.
A Hawaiian girl and her sister, struggling within the states Social Services to stay together despite many pitfalls (they lost thier parents in a car accident), end up involved with an escaped experiment from a distant galaxy. This creature was designed to have no guilt or remorse while rampaging. However, when it was supposed to be sent into exile on a deserted planet it escapes to Earth, a planet considered a Wildlife Preserve for skeeters by the galactic community. Along the way, it learns the concept of family and belonging.
This could have been a bad movie. It WAS in production limbo for quite a while. However, someone saw the film for it's originality and cut it loose. With minimal promotion, it went on to become a huge winner for Disney.
Never too slow, never too preachy and having enough humor for adults to appreciate without being gross, this is indeed a family film.
Buy it. You never know when they'll make a good one again.

Viddy this film right at once, oh my brothers

A clockwork Orange is a masterpiece. Anthony Burgess's story of reform was a masterpiece years before Kubrick made it a legend. For those who have read it, it much more of a satire of an overpowering government, than a horror story about a gang of boys who go out every night and rape, beat, and steal. When Kubrick made the movie (tied with 2001 as his best, he made it to retain it's satirical views. If any other director would have tried to adapt it, they would have most likely exploited it's violence, and sex, and scrap the underlying meaning of the story. Most people who view this film don't get the real meanig of it because they disgusted by the first forty minutes. yes, it is disturbing, but it builds us up for the real story. A clockwork Orange is not about Ultra-violence, it's about how reform does not work on an evil mind, and How the goverenment thinks they can change us all.Of course this movie would not be the same without Malcolm Mcdowell. His stunning portrail of Alex the droog lives in cinema history as (by far and away) the best charactor adaptation ever. As a matter of fact i believe this movie, along with 1984, are the best noval to movie adaptaions ever made. This movie is Kubrick's masterpiece. Ever single thing about Kubrick is inthis movie. First, the face. The Kubrick face which graces ever single movie of his (the sadistic, evil looking grin which graces alex's face in the very first scene, Private piles face when he shoots the DI, and Jack torrances face, all through the shining, for examples). Second, the camera work. The slow camera work which shows every scene in it's entirty to show the full majesty of it. Thirdly, the music. With out the classical score, this movie would be nothing. And fourth (and most important) is the inclusion of Burgess's made up slang, Nadast. This gives the charactors there own identity (and good lingo to talk to other kubrick fans with).A clockwork orange is a masterpiece.

Wow...if you grew up in the 80's and didn't see this movie at least ten times, you must have lived under a rock. I have seen it so many times, and it never loses it's appeal. It's not a movie that won a lot of awards, and it doesn't ponder anything deep and spiritual. It is just a plain old fashioned silly laugh your pants off kind of movie!! The first time I saw this movie, I knew it was going to be a keeper. Now, years later I still can't stop myself from thinking of that hilarious line with the nurse every time someone says the word "fever" know the one I'm talking about:
" I heard that you are feeling ill headache, fever and a chill. I came to help restore your pluck, cause I'm the nurse who likes to....."
If you've seen it, see it again. If you haven't....what are you waiting for!

Angel - Season One - movie DVD cover picture
I love this show

I used to make fun of my girlfriend for watching Buffy. Then she started watching Angel and I had to sit through a few episodes because she wouldn't change the channel. However, I didn't really mind watching Angel because it had quite a bit of action and Charisma Carpenter is pretty damn hot.
Soon I started asking her a ton of questions about the show (we were watching season 2 at the time) as I became more and more interested. After 5 episodes, I became totally addicted to this show and had to buy season 1 on dvd. Now I can't get enough of it.
For me, Buffy has way too much "talky talky". However, Angel is darker and more story/action driven than character driven.
I have purchased all 3 available seasons and can't wait for the next 2. If you are considering purchasing Season 1 then definitely do it.

Denzel does it again!

Solid cast, and based on the true-life story of the REAL Coach Boone. The coach was an African-American, coming to a high school in Virginia which still held many of the values of the Old South. The team reflected this, white and black players not fully getting along, though having winning records for years. He also relieved a very popular white coach who, after much soul-searching, became his assistant. Coach Boone ultimately did what the finer coaches in all sports accomplish: teaching the lessons of compassion, understanding, and selfless teamwork ... the lessons of life. I, personally, truly enjoyed this film, and have watched it more than once.
