Can I Go Now- DVD single Jennifer Love Hewitt

Her music DVD "Can I Go Now," is one of the greatest accomplishments for Jennifer Love Hewitt. It puts together her acting and music talents. You get two see both sides of her career. Not only does it include the videos "Barenaked" and "Can I Go Now," but a photo album of her within the DVD. These videos are two of her hit songs on her album "Barenaked." The whole DVD is spectacular and it is great for such a low price. This DVD cannot be found in stores, believe me I've looked. If you a true fan of JLH you would by this single DVD it is the greatest!! I highly recommend it!

Really the best

Regardless of this movie's historical accuracy, (which is pretty good)Gibson's ability as a director to combine the story of Scotland's battle for freedom from the English tyrant Edward the Longshanks, and one oridinary man's struggle in a role he never wanted could not have been done better. Braveheart does all of this and more as the story unfolds on many levels dramatically and intensely. I cannot put into words just how good this movie is. The DVD itself is not much better then the VHS verson, with the exception that the sound quality truly does this magnificant soundtrack justice, and the picture makes the ferocious combat 5x better. If you have never seen this movie, you've been living under a rock, and if you have and didn't like it, then i have nothing to say to you. However, for those of us who love this movie nearly as much as I, this DVD would be an excellent addition to their collection.

Nutty Professor II - The Klumps (Collector's Edition) - movie DVD cover picture

This is a kick*** movie. I do not know it got bad reviews. It was funny and it had a really good storyline. Eddy Murphy did a really good job playing the Klumps. It must have been really hard for him. Janet Jackson plyed his girl in the movie and she also did a good job. This movie is really funny, and in my opinion, it was alot better than the first one.It also has some bonus features on it too. It has Janet's Music Video: "Doesn't Really Matter", and it has a 10 minute review of the making of the movie. The bonus stuff is cool, but the movie is really good.If you like really funny movies, you will like this one, so check it out!

A Must Have for any Ranma 1/2 Fan!

If you are hesitant about getting this, as I was at first, go with it. It is totally hilarious, especially the first one, with Shampoo in the 'Curse of the Contrary Jewel'. I was waiting to see the 'Tendo Family Christmas Scramble' and was not disappointed, especially with the Kareoke done by Doco. There are a few sweet episodes, with 'Akane vs. Ranma! I'll Be the One to Inherit Mother's Recipes!' Overall, the best ones would have to be a two-parter, episodes 7 and 8, 'Reawakening Memories, Parts 1 and 2.' Hilarious and touching, with introductions of one-shots characters that you wont soon forget. This also includes 'Team Ranma vs. the Legendary Phoenix' which was released as a movie in Japan. In 'Oh Cursed Tennel of Lost Love! Let My Love Be Forever!' pay very close attention to the names, which will have you cracking up if you know anything about old television shows. The entire collection has amazing animation, better then all the seasons and the two movies. The extras are great. It has detailed floor plans of almost the entire Tendo house, trailers, an interview with Takahashi, character profiles and over a dozen music videos by Doco. Doco is the group that the voice actors of girl Ranma, Akane, Nabiki, Shampoo, and Kasumi formed. Even if you don't speak Japanese, you should still love these. The songs are beautiful and the animation is great as well. This collection is the perfect buy for any Ranma 1/2 fan.

I am SOOOOO depressed. (Spoilers)

I have to give a John Milius film 5 stars. The skin on the tip of my finger started decaying and the bone turned to powder as my body reacted to try to prevent this from happening.

Alas, it is justified. To make matters far worse, not only did he direct it - he wrote the screenplay. I can credit one of Connery's best performances, his terrific chemistry with Candice Bergen, Brian Keith's Teddy Roosevelt, the metaphor of the title, the locations, but in the end it is the direction. All alone, the scene of Connery riding towards William Pedecaris (Simon Harrison) and scooping up his rifle is glorious. There is so much wonder and beauty in here that it is easy to suspend common sense at the very silly idea of Mrs. Pedecaris letting her children go into battle to rescue The Raisuli.

This from the man who perpetrated a appalling waste of celluloid with Red Dawn. I guess there is some good in all of us.

Harlow, Powell, Loy and Tracy in a clever comedy classic

"Libeled Layd" is a first rate sardonic comedy with moments of slapstick and farce well served by a stellar cast. Newspaper editor William Haggerty (Spencer Tracy) is about to marry Gladys (Jean Harlow), but has to leave the bride at the altar because his newspaper has just published a juicy scandal about millionairess Connie Allenbury (Myrna Loy) being a husband-stealer. The "Libeled Lady" slaps Mr. Bane (Charlie Grapewin) with a $5,000,000 libel suit because of the story. Haggerty searches the world for famous lawyer Bill Chandler (William Powell), and once he finds him marries the guy off to Gladys (this part always confuses me too, but it made sense at the time). Chandler tries to find Connie in a compromising situation so he can get her to withdraw the suit, but, of course, he ends up falling in love with her. So, naturally, the couple elopes. But do not worry; everything works out fine in the end once the couples worked out who is going to marry who so they can live happily ever after; it becomes obvious to us long before it does to the characters. This 1936 comedy directed by Jack Conway is an adult comedy with some actual brains behind it all. The four stars work off each other exceptionally well, thanks to the script, with Harlow the big surprise as she manages to keep up with Powell, Loy and Tracy.

"Why do you wear that stupid bunny suit?"
"Why do you wear that stupid man suit?"
When I first heard about this movie, a friend was babbling about "an overly-medicated guy that has this bunny that tells him about the future and time travel."Of course, that had me interested. When I finally saw the movie, I was amazed..I have NEVER seen anything like it. In my eyes, it is a beautiful work of art that never lets your mind rest. If you watch it, you will understand what I mean. This film stimulates the mind and the soul, not to mention the tear ducts.Watching it was an emotional experience; if you've ever loved and lost someone...yeahEvery part of this movie is beautiful, whether it be the score, filming style, cast, or storyline. It is perfect for anybody.I'm not going to spoil it for you....sooIf you have not seen it, gather some friends and GO WATCH IT!

The best EVER!

Its impossible to review this flick. Its possibly the best movie ever made. Period. It will tear you apart and leave you totally dazed. It'll redefine you in a very fundamental way. Watching this flick was probably the greatest life-changing experience I ever had. Brad Pitt was transformed overnite from a star to a greater-than-life persona when he chose to don Tristan's mantle. I don't think anybody else can do honor to that role. Fits him like a glove. One of the most original epics Hollywood has ever come up with. Edward Zwick, you are GOD.

Nobody Will Read This But I'm Writing This Anyhow

The mere fact that MGM deemed this film worthy of a DVD release has to be a cosmic joke. I remember seeing this film on it's initial run back in 1987 in it's opening(and closing) week and there were, including myself, three people in the audience. I loved every minute of it. This film has it all. Ham-handed direction by writer Norman Mailer, convoluted plotting, overwought writing. In other words, brilliant. Mailer is ably assisted by a game cast that includes Ryan O'Neal(Mr. Box-office Poison), Isabella Rossellini(fresh from "Blue Velvet"), Wings Hauser(brilliant in the film,"Vice Squad"), Lawrence Tierney(Joe Cabot from "Reservoir Dogs"), and Penn Jillette(Penn and Teller). In a perfect world the catch phrase "Deep-six the heads" should have entered into the common vernacular. Anyone who fancies themselves a film buff should see this film once. Just to believe it.
