William Holden plays the leader of a group of outlaws who decide to do one final heist. Featuring great acting, direction, cinematography, & awesome editing, this movie is terrific to watch.Controversial in its day,Peckinpah used gallons of stage blood,& an inumerable amount of bullet squibs to create the film's climax:A gun battle of gargantuan proportions.Due to Peckinpah's awesome use of widescreen,be sure it letterboxed.

Time to Reflect

A great movie for christians to watch and reflect on why Jesus was sent to this world for us..... but not only for us, for all people. It will have you crying throughout the whole movie and keep you in shock til the end. Gibson did a great job with this production and making it so realistic, as if you were there. A movie definitely worth watching on good friday or any time during the lenten season. Although i dont recommend taking a young child to see it since there are many violent scenes.

A Guilty Pleasure to say the least!

I saw this on Encore movie channel last year late at night.
I thought, since I loved the Nightmare on Elm Street and Scream series, maybe Wes Craven would impress me again. Certainly, he did. This film is about a killer who is electrocuted, and he finds out how to come back to life and tries to murder the football player who turned him in to the police. Awesome. Really awesome.

Finally -- now produce the new series

This is one of my favorite tv shows of all time. Wonderful to finally have them all to watch. And this is glorious fullscreen, like originally televised, unlike the wretched DVDs of the two mini-series (V and V the Final Battle) which are in letterboxed only editions, unlike the fullscreen versions originally broadcast.
It is also worth correcting something from one of the reviewers below, in a factual sense. Reviewer "dpcole7" (Oak Park Heights, MN United States says that at the start of many of the episodes of V, The Series, there is "Some silly bogus TV announcer at the start of the show, doing his best not to laugh at the script he'd been given to read." That is NOT some "silly bogus TV announcer"--that is Howard K. Smith, an actual Tv network news anchor at the time, which lent a real air of reality to the series to viewers at the time, who knew who he was.
Buy this and watch it, and let's encourage the network to make the follow up mini-series which is supposedly in the works.

Godzilla Vs Mechagodzilla 1974 - movie DVD cover picture
one of the best

Mechagodzilla is one of my favorite opponents for his namesake, simple in design but packing massive firepower he has also drawn plenty of blood. This is one of the bloodier Godzilla movies, Anguirus bleeds from his mouth before retreating and the might King of Monsters sprays arterial blood after a strafing pass. Godzilla's suit was nicely done for this film with a detailed face, it offsets King Seesar's somewhat comical "angry dog" look. The "Aliens from the Third Planet of the Black Hole: Outer Space" are my least favorite of the series. Plenty of action and monsters offset the rather groovy musical score as well. Overall "Godzilla vs Mechagodzilla" is a great movie, creating a memorable opponent and a welcome addition to any collection.

Tell It Like It Is

I have seen a number of documentaries critical of the Bush administration's policies, but this is the most objective one of the bunch. An excellent film which just tells it as it is. It just shows you that you don't have to give a leftist slant in order to criticize the administration. What the leaders of this country has said and done is so preposterous that all you have to do is tell the truth.

Very thought provoking

I had no idea what Crash was about before heading to the movie theater...only that it was controversial. The subject of this movie is one that makes you stop and think about your own interactions with people of various races. I thoroughly enjoyed this's probably the best one I've seen this year (and I hope it wins some awards).

Like another reviewer's hard to talk more about the movie without giving plot points away. Whatever you do, don't dismiss it...see it right's money well spent.

Outstanding Entertainment!

This is one of the greatest concert put on film. Song after song - no bull - just one great song after the other. Try to pick your favorite Bee Gee Song and you realize the place this group has in the history of music. The brothers Gibb work in such perfect harmony. The dvd sounds so much better on the home surround system. Truly an outstanding dvd that is worth every dollar that you pay for it.

excellent special effects

Great action, an in depth, captivating plot, and Wesley Snipes. Who could ask for more? The thing that makes this movie so good is that the good guy- Blade- isn't perfect. Yes he's got awesome abilities, and seems indestructable, but he's just as mortal as everyone else. This is a great movie, and one you HAVE to see at least once. I've seen it twelve times!
