Easily One of the Best

if there is such a thing as the perfect anime series, i think Cowboy Bebop is as close as we've gotten yet. With top-notch animation, music (especially the music) and a storyline that has a fantastic sleek stylish feel that no other series can even touch, Bebop is easily one of the best works of anime EVER!

Bill fans will love this

This DVD was recorded in 1993 in Germany by the looks and must've been done fairly close to the 'Chicago live at the Greek Theatre' show because I think the great man is wearing the same clothes.Gee Bill Champlin's a great singer though and this DVD sounds great and just makes for great listening.I love the man's work with 'Chicago' and I love his solo work.Any Bill Champlin fan will consider this a good buy.Oh and highly recommended to the many who are still sadly uninitiated to the fine talent and great voice of Bill Champlin

the most intense sci fi movie put to screen I've ever seen

saw it 8 times on tv
awesome every time
saw it in theatres at age 10 with my pops
shocking it was
very funny
very shocking
very full of action
great story
moving characters
shocking visuals
I closed my eyes in the parts where the T1000 stuck people with his sharp hands
like the dad getting gouged through the throat while drinking a carton of milk. the cop getting stuck in the eye to death while his double ( T 1000) stood there prying it deeper, the trucker asking if T1000 is alright and he knives him right thru the chest into the heart. ouch that has to hurt all of these people. great movie. great cinematics. glad I got this on dvd. Robert Patrick makes a great villain. he's also great in Fire in the Sky. a truly shocking alien like tale movie. see if you haven't. I mean this movie and Fire in the sky of course. thank you for your time people. can't wait to watch this movie again and again on my dvd player. I could never get sick of Terminator movies. I'll be watching T2 til the day I die. that's how pricless this movie is

Frenzy - movie DVD cover picture
Hitch's most brutal shocker really messes with your mind!

FRENZY, Hitchcock's penultimate film, was a critical and commercial success on its 1972 release, but has never become legendary the way PSYCHO, VERTIGO, or THE BIRDS have. This is partially because Hitchcock uses no glamorous movie stars here - the performers are all London stage veterans, not Hollywood personalities - and partially because this is a very unpleasant and disturbing work that leaves the viewer feeling rather stained and dirty afterwards. In FRENZY, Hitchcock culminates a lifetime of obsession with the figure of the unjustly accused man AND the rape-murder of a blonde woman. The film is the story of Dick Blaney (J. Finch), who is imprisoned as London's "Necktie Murderer" after both his ex-wife and his girlfriend are found dead. Blaney knows that the real murderer is his "friend," grocer Bob Rusk, and he breaks out of prison to catch and kill Rusk. He is prevented from doing so only by Inspector Oxford of Scotland Yard, who, unbeknownst to Blaney, has been on the trail of the real killer for some time. FRENZY disturbs because the "wrongly accused man," is a far from sympathetic character. Blaney is crude, violent and selfish, and is certainly capable of murder (hence his former profession as a soldier), and indeed, we see him sink to the level of Bob Rusk at the end of the film. On the other hand, the actual killer, like PSYCHO'S Norman Bates, seems like a calm, generous man who "loves flowers and fruit," and "has things to give," but who is actually a volcano of rage and hate. These complex characterizations leave the viewer in an uneasy frame of mind, as we are forced to identify with characters who are morally ambiguous, to say the least! The film's treatment of women is also horrifying. The rape-murder of Brenda Blaney (B. Leigh-Hunt) is the single longest scene in the film, and is indeed drawn out to a near-excruciating length. The camera dwells on the sight of Brenda's violation and strangling with an unbearable explicitness. Brenda wears a pale green sheath similar to Melanie's dress in THE BIRDS, and it seems that Hitchcock symbolically extinguished the figure of the chilly blonde who preoccupied him for so long. Also, FRENZY makes a constant connection between women, food, sex and pollution that is in fact quite repugnant. Despite all of this, FRENZY fascinates because it is so well-made, so elegantly directed, and so humourous. Our emotions are quite spectacularly manipulated by this film - you will find yourself cringing in revulsion one moment and laughing out loud the next, and this strange dichotomy makes for a - to say the least - unique viewing experience. A violent, funny and quite profound film that rewards repeated viewings, if you have the guts for it.

Great Scott!

Back to the Future was my first ever favorite film, and it still is one of my all time favorites. And finally! After what seems like an eternity, The Back to the Future trilogy is coming to DVD! Back to the Future is one of the funniest films you'll ever see and the two sequels are two of the best sequels of any film series. You will definately not be dissapointed in buying this!

Definitely Japanese and a good refreshment

This anime is definitely one of the best I've seen so far. Some people do not enjoy this series because of its various elements - namely, extremely japanese elements, which can be disturbing at times to someone fresh out of the western viewpoint - but overall, it's extremely enjoyable. It is definitely a mental workout, and a lot of fun to watch. Buy it if you're interested in viewing another point of view. There are several references to elements in western culture, as well, so you won't be totally in the dark, but this volume really wraps up the series well. It definitely made me want to view the entire series again.
Again, buy it if you're interested in another point of view, and you're mentally ready for the violence that's quite abound in it. Also if you're mentally ready for the japanese 'city' culture element. If you're uncomfortable with any of them, I'd suggest renting the series first, or else you might feel as if you've wasted your money (although I'd be perfectlly willing to take them off of your hands if you feel that way ^_~).

Python proves his genius

... was right when they chose this as an essential video. This film was my first exposure to Monty Python- quite the film to watch when I was in high school just a few years ago. I have watched this movie over and over, and it doesn't lose any of its humor! Watch this, and you'll most certainly be a Python fan for life.
