BEST Batman yet!

Far superior to its predecessor, this film had it all. Top notch acting, good writing, action, humor and darkness! Michelle Pfeiffer made living history as Catwoman. She took a well known character and made it all her own. Unfortunately the severely untalented Halle Berry has now taken over the Catwoman legacy so it is inevitable let-down. Well at least we will always have Michelle in black vinyl with a bull whip making men pay for their oppressive & misogynistic ways.

A great action movie!

I loved this film! It's got a lot of superb action, and great dialogue (particularly from the villain, Marek), but it also has a thoughtfulness and a morality to it that sets it apart from the typical "mindless action movie." An action movie with a heart -- what a concept!

Pearl Harbor is a Must See!

This movie brought tears in my eyes. Showing the reality of all the tragedy that happened during World War II while at the same time a love story was absolutley wonderful! Ben Affleck and Josh Harnett did a wonderful job portraing people of World War II. This was the best movie I've seen in a long time. It reminded me of Titanic in a way, but with alot more depth.

A dream come true!

I watch Columbo every single day that I can find it on, usually on Bravo and the BIO channels. I have all the VHS available and have complained for years that I wish they would put them on DVD. My heart lept to my throat when I saw this available! I wasted not one second in pre-ordering it and will order every single one that comes out on DVD. I love Peter Falk and Columbo! Cheesy as it can be sometimes, I will tell you that I am VERY excited to see these movies become available. WOO-HOO!!!

This made my whole week!

Wow! This Blew Me Away!

Denzel Washington is powerful, ingenius and excellent as Rubin 'Hurricane' Carter, who was wrongfully accused of murder. The excellent Vicellous Reon Shannon plays a 13 year old Canadian boy who tries his hardest to stand up for what he believes in - Rubin's innocence.
This is one of the best of the year, Reon Shannon gives a powerhouse performance and Washington in his best role yet. See it.

Wonderful film from Cleese and Co.

What makes this special is the interplay between American and English attitudes that is at its heart. This is a pet area of co-writer and star Cleese who has had three American wives and nurtures a fascination for the differences between the two cultures. This can be seen both in his work with Monty Python and in the Fawlty Towers episode The Americans. The conflict created between the characters' backgrounds creates much of the magic and gives the picture its transatlantic appeal. Cleese gives a career best performance as an actor, being surprisingly vulnerable in the love scenes and making us believe that he has fallen in love with Jamie Lee Curtis. Kline won an deserved Oscar for his very very funny supporting role, but all four stars contribute equally to this post-modern Ealing comedy. This leads me to mention Charles Crichton who co-directed with Cleese. In his last feature film, Crichton was in his late seventies when this was made. Having directed classic Ealing comedies The Titfield Thunderbolt and The Lavender Hill Mob, Crichton had retired from feature films in the 1960s and since then had turned in many well received episodes of television series such as The Avengers and The Professionals. His return to feature films marked a return to the form which had made him so successful in his Ealing days, garnering him commercial success and his only Oscar nomination.

What female orgasm is all about!

I have to say that I love everything about this video!!! The video, which is very tastefully done, shows a beautiful woman (Sheri) produce a dome shaped orgasm in herself. I really enjoyed watching her anatomy start out a lovely coral color and turn a deep rich crimson as she became more engorged and turned on. There is absolutely no question in my mind that the woman in this video is having a superior orgasm. She enjoys every stroke and feels as much sensation all over her body as possible. Every time I watch this video I leave ready for more. The video has helped me feel more sensation in my clit and body while masturbating. I also feel much more sensation while my partner and I have intercourse.

I am so thankful that there are people out there like the Welcomed Consensus who so openly share their wealth of knowledge about friendship, communication and orgasm.

Definatly A Worthy Movie

This is cartainly the best war film I have seen since Saving Private Ryan or The Patriot. I just read a review by someone who said that the plot was unrealistic and that the characters were too "made up". Well, that person should realize that these events ACTUALLY HAPPENED and that the movie is based on Mark Bowden's book of the same name. The book contains most all of the facts from the actual event. The actions taken by such men as Randy Shughart and Gary Gordon (the Delta Force operators who single handedly went in on a suicide mission to defend downed chopper pilot Mike Durand) were real events, but some people fail to recognize this and dismiss their heroic actions as stupid. If you truly want to appreciate what a brilliant job Ridley Scott did, than I would highly suggest reading the book first. Ignorant people, like that reviewer, make me sick because they don't know that this story really took place on October 3, 1993, and that a lot of our guys actually fought and died over there. The fact that they had some of the men who actually fought in the battle as consultants on the movie shows their true intention to keep the movie as "real" as possible. The graphic combat depictions are terrifying and the plot exposition gives you just enough to know what is going on. The ensemble cast did a brilliant job showing the fear and helplessness that some of the men felt, while at the same time showing the brave and selfelss acts that the men realized that they needed to do to survive. The movie could have easily taken over three hours to show everything that happened, but Scott keeps it down to just over two hours. The point that I really want to make is that everyone should see this movie to truly appreciate the sacrifice that our Special Forces (the Army Rangers and the Delta Force) made in Somalia. The only flaw in this movie is that they don't point out which character is which as much as they should.

Coming on DVD August 13, 2002

I first saw this film when i was falling asleep with the telly on one late night - i could not turn it off, it was really good. Patrick Dempsy takes on his familiar geek role this time named Ronald Miller , a so called loser who is only known for mowing the lawns for locals. Anyway to cut a long story short he offers to pay the most popular girl in school played by the lovely Amanda Petterson, $1000 to pretend they are going out , this is a ploy to make him popular and it works. There are some good characters in this film, and there is a message at the end of the film that many people should take in.
They do not make films like this anymore- and i hope that touchstone get round to releasing this fine film on dvd, i would be the first to snap it up!!!
