Sanford and Son - The Third Season - movie DVD cover picture
3rd Season is the best!

This is arguably the best TV sitcom ever made. Fred Sanford will have you laughing so hard!!!! Season's 1&2 are very funny, but Season 3 will have you in tears. The laughs keep rolling in from Fred, Grady, Aunt Ester and his dummy son Lamont. In season 3 there are technichally 24 episodes here. Redd Foxx had contract disputes with the producers back in the day. Therefore, he is not on Episodes 20-25 of Season 3. Episode 19 was written, but never filmed due to the dispute. Grady runs the Sanford household on episodes 20-25. Grady will have you laughing as well. Must have DVD. Go purchase all 3 seasons!!!! This is a riot of a good time. Timeless classic episodes. A++++++++++

King is King

This is the best complete season of the Four released so far. But makes it great are all the extras through out the DVD. Once you start viewing the other complete seasons it is clear what they are lacking. However, episode wise, this season is just as great as every other season. But be warned, if you buy one, chances are you'll buy them all.

Rounders=Greatness

What can i say about the best movie that I have ever watched. I cant say much to make up for how incredibly scrumptulescent this movie is. The acting and poker play is superb in this movie and very life-like. It all starts with Matt Damon and his problems with the evil KGB. KGB is so funny in this movie. Especially when he sprinkles all the chips on the table and eats the oreo cookies. HAHAHAHAHA! Ah good times. Anyways I personally believe this was Matt Damons best acting job in a film and I cried when he did not win an oscar and was not even put up for one.

I recommend Rounders for people of all ages especially including those named Mike Studer. Go buy Rounders now and i meant that.

Batman - The Animated Series - The Legend Begins - movie DVD cover picture
It all began in September of 1992...

I was in kindergarten when the Batman animated series began. I heard about it and said to myself "Oh neat the guy from the movie" I was young and at that time did not realize that the movies were REALLY bad. I watched it every day. Even my parents would sit down, watch it and enjoy it. It freaked me out at first that a children`s cartoon could be so smart but aftertwo episode I was hooked. This is not Adam West or Michael Keaton... this IS Batman! This is the reason why I go to the comic book store every week! This is in my opinion the best (serious) cartoon ever! So buy it! You heard me! BUY IT!

Shouldn't be missed

Tender, heartwrenching, and very romantic, this film is amazing, and will give a better understanding of Cuba and its people.
This tragic love affair, set against the politics of repression is a story one won't forget...made vivid by the magnificent black and white cinematography and a marvelous soundtrack.
The acting by everyone is superb, and the two leads, Mayte Vilan and Rene Lavan, utterly gorgeous. Miguel Guitierrez is so moving in the beautifully written part of the father.
This is truly a wonderful film, and makes me so appreciative of the freedom I live in.

The Matrix Has You......and if it doesn't, it will soon

I wonder why I even went to see this movie.....I was told it had a good plot but after watching it for over 2 hrs, all I could see was special effects......I couldn't figure out the plot because this movie was so weird and all it was was visuals and people fighting in fights that I didn't even know what they were fighting about! I couldn't believe I saw this movie....what an utter bore!

I love MORK

I love this show. I have since I was a little girls and I always will. I just wish they'd put out the second season. I can only watch the first season so many times before I can say the lines in my sleep. (But that won't stop me from watching it!)

Not your typical Epic

People who claim this movie is a disappointment are probably expecting a superficial cartoon-like epic such as Troy or Gladiator. This movie on the other hand does not have a simple story.

It presents a new take on plausible events in the life of Alexander the great, conveying his dreams and ideas. The style of Oliver Stone is recognizable in the visions and flashbacks, something that might put down Troy fans, but that certainly adds character to the movie. The visuals of the movie are absolutely amazing. The Battle scenes with Darius are very well done and the battle in India conveys so much power. I would have liked to get a little bit more insight into the Persian Empire. To know better the allies Alexander made among them. But to go into this other dimension in an already 3-hour long film would be asking for too much. Hopefully some future DVD version will include these extra scenes :) In summary I found this movie the best I have seen among the movies based on Ancient Greece or Rome. A definitively must see for Oliver Stone fans and for history enthusiasts.

P.S. Reviewers should get over the "Alexander being gay is an insult". Besides, the movie has so many other dimensions that people only focusing on that depiction for giving a low score to the movie are already so narrow-minded that their score shouldn't be taken seriously.

Worth Seeing

I know this movie was not a big hit when it came out but it is really a good film. Harrison Ford is great as one of his most likeable characters that I have seen him portray. Henry, a corrupt lawyer who withholds evidence when his client is obviously guilty and a womanizer is seriously injured in a robbery. When he comes to, he has lost his memory and has to be re-taught just about everything. His teacher is a very virtuous man, who teaches Henry to enjoy the good things in life (Henry loves most of all Ritz crackers). Thus the mean, cheating Henry who forced his daughter to remain at a boarding school that she hates, is suddenly transformed into a kind man who cares about everybody's feelings.
Eventually, he figures out that the Henry he once was was a horrible person and he hopes never to go back to that life.
Annette Benning is great and beautiful as the wife that had an uncaring husband who all of a sudden loves her more than anything. She has to decide if she is ready to leave the life they led with other uncaring and obnoxious friends.
Priceless scenes, especially those involving Henry and his secretary!

"morons... i've got morons on my team"

Who could not love this film? While it is a great western it's also so much more. The dry humor, the action, the love story nesteled into the great plot. The best scene HAS to be when they decide leave their lives of crime for a while and get honest jobs. Such classic lines as "Since i'm desperate and you're exactly what i'm looking for... you're hired." I know i am not coming close to doing this film justice. So look around at what others are saying. You won't be dissapointed.
